Just been in touch with Joe Dunwell, regarding tomorrow's open Mic night there has been a change of host. As Joe is taking part in a charity bike race his equally amazing brother Dave Dunwell will now be hosting the afternoon! Good luck Joe from all at The Weaving Shed! A great place for a beer. Very relaxing and the staff are all friendly, attentive people. Food is also excellent. Highly recommended

We used to go to VM bar pretty much every weekend when we used to live at VM and thoroughly enjoyed the food and bar... decided to go back for lunch today. After waiting 60 minutes for our lunch to arrive, I had only had my food for about 2 minutes when I was told it was the wrong pannini and needed changing.We were completely shocked by the bizarre behaviour of the waiter who mumbled that it was the wrong food and lifted it off the table before I realised what was going on. He then put the replacement pannini down and handed me back my fork still with a half eaten chip on it. That I could have easily accepted but we were completely amazed when he used his bare hand to grab a handful of chips off my plate and put on the other poor person's plate right in front of us!!(Even though I had only eaten half a chip so far!) In every aspect the place seems to have lost its high standards of the past. We used to love VM bar but won't return now if our food is going to take that long to arrive and then be man-handled by surly waiters - unbelievable!! He didn't even apologise for touching my plate. Wouldn't you swap the extra half a chip back in the kitchen?! What a shame!
