We've just been for afternoon tea (we recieved a voucher as a christmas present). The cafe is quirky and cosy. The lady who served us was really polite and friendly. The food was amazing! We had a selection of 4 different kinds of sandwiches, scone with cream and jam and a cake to take home afterwards. We will definetly come here again! Would highly recommend The Well!

We had the shakshuka eggs from the specials for lunch yesterday & it was lovely :) the home made pitta was really good too. Thanks guys!

We had afternoon tea here yesterday, really lovely place, quirky and cute! Staff were ultra friendly and took care of everything! Lashings of tea and cake , what more do you need ? 😊

The Well provided an amazing spread for our family function last Friday. The sandwiches were varied, sausage rolls and pork pies all very tasty. Flapjacks, brownies and cake all lovely, fresh and moist.

Thank you to the well and Helen for making my friend the most amazing chocolate birthday cake! Helen kept me up to date with everything that was happening and even sent me a pic of the cake and delivered it to the restaurant for me! The cake was superb and enjoyed by everyone! Will definitely be getting more!

Really good breakfast! Good crispy bacon! Hubby thought the tables were a bit small and we missed not having black pudding with brekkie. Took a lovely looking little cake and caramel shortcake home to sample later!

Ordered mini cakes for a party which were delicious and enjoyed immensely! Whilst picking them up I stopped for lunch and tucked into a really good bowl of chicken soup. Will definitely visit again!

My wife and i were fancying a bacon sarnie this morning and living in meanwood, there are a fair few around! None really up to much...until she went for a drive to look for a different one and stumbled accross this little gem. Not greasy, fresh bread and lovely bacon etc Really impressed with the quality and have FINALLY found a nice sandwich shop!

Indulged in a most delicious veggie breakfast served with piping hot tea. Glamorgan sausages, poached eggs, mushroom, tomato and beans with perfect toast made a delicious brunch. Very relaxed with no pressure to move on, we got through two large pots of tea whilst setting the world to rights. Couldn't resist a takeaway lemon drizzle cake which I am happy to confirm was as luscious as it looked. I'll be back!

If your in the area call in looking at the menu I’ll be in for breakfast and lunch. The fajita was tasty and just enough spice loved it. The service was fabulous you would think I’d known the girls there for years. The cakes looked fabulous but I was full.

Not sure what coffee they use but it was great and I know coffee it’s all I drink. Seriously call in.

I love this place! I often pop in for a coffee and a slice of amazing cake or pick up a sandwich if I'm driving past. Helen and the team even put on afternoon tea when my friends came to visit - it was amazing (better than bettys!!)

I have a local Cafe NOT a "greasy Caf" but a CAFE, right around the corner. I walked in to the chic surroundings and felt so welcome by the fabulous proprietor Helen, and the lovely Carolina (not sure if I spelt your name correctly!) They fed my family and I lots of goodies (dear God, so many choices!), Helen even managed to rustle me up something "clean and lean", as I am rather pathetically awkward! The baked goods looked absolutely yummy too, cannot wait to sample those when I'm not being good! So people get your butts down there and enjoy!!! Thank you ladies, see you soon :)

Had the most amazing schnitzel in hand made pitta, falafel and hummus. Hannah and her staff are super friendly and we've taken home some delicious cakes! Highly recommend

Had a great lunch at the well today, the hummus and falafel wrap was really tasty. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the cake was to die for!! Would definitely visit again.

A lovely little place to grab lunch .... good creative menu options to please everyones taste , homemade soups and Delish cakes ( gluten free too ) and to top it all off lovely friendly service with a smile from Tracy and Adrian ...what a little gem !

I found this quirky cafe when I was trying to chill out for a while after a very stressful week. The food was lovely, staff were friendly, but personally I would want some comfy chairs to relax in while eating. Rather than sat on benches or wooden crates.
