We had some friends come down from Suffolk for the weekend. We took them to the Welly for Sunday lunch and we were all very happy with everything all round, the food, the service was all excellent and my friends from the east left suitably impressed

Visited The Wellesley this evening for the first time since Abi and Katy took over and had an excellent meal , delicious home cooked food at a great price, we thoroughly enjoyed it - thank you!

This restaurant/pub is so worth a visit. We came across it when we were touring England and can honestly say it was one of the best Sunday lunches we had. The new owners make people so welcome. I would love to be able to enjoy Wellesley Arms as my local retreat. Unfortunately we live too far away for that but I really wanted to spread the word on how good the food and service is. If you give it a try you will not be disappointed.

The perfect family friendly pub. Our children loved the child size roast dinner, which included ice cream � . The staff interacted with our children and made them and us very welcome. We will definitely recommend you to our family & friends.

Sunday Roast is amazing - great portion size, delicious meat and vegetables - the gravy is the best I have ever had; thick and tasty ........oh and the desserts 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Will definately come again when we are over this way 10/10 ......great value for money 🏆🏆🏆

Quite honestly the best Sunday roast you will find in the area and one of the best burgers. And the special order massive steal (32oz maybe, can't remember) is a true treat.

My wife and I went for our anniversary meal and the landlord and his wife were absolutely amazing. We were given lovely treatment as if we were regulars and the food was 2nd to none. Needless to say we will be going back. A big thank you all.. X

If my wife is not cooking a roast on a Sunday (and she cooks a mean roast), then it's the Wellesley or no roast.

I had my twins christening function at The Wellesley Arms on Sunday. We had 50 very happy guest. Sam and her team served us a fabulous sunday lunch and mouth watering desserts. I would recommend this pub not only because of the food, the staff are very welcoming, professional and went out of their way to make our day run smoothly. Thank you for all your hard work and taking time to arrange the function for us. We will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended.

I called in today for lunch and we really enjoyed the food and the service was great I think our waitress was called Amber I may be wrong but I just wanted to say thanks again for the mashless cottage pie it was yummy!

How come I had forgotten about this little gem of a pub? It's a stone's throw away and defo now my local as no more Hit or Miss in our village.

Fabby HOME COOKED food, friendly welcome and cosy atmosphere.

Had a family celebration on Sunday... They served Sunday roast for 38 of us... Great portions.. Plenty of vegetables and fantastic gravy.. Well done.. Nothing too much trouble..

Fab place, lovely fresh food at a good price. Brilliant garden for the kids. A nice clean country pub. Would recommend and will be going back.

Came off the M4 on our way back from the airshow at Fairford and luckily found the Wellesley Arms. The service from stepping inside was excellent and very welcoming. The food was of a high standard and delicious....we left feeling very full and happy. Will definitely stop here again.

A group of 5 of us stopped in on our way back to Milton Keynes from an event in Bristol. The staff were lovely, chatty and really helpful. The food was cracking, so much so that some had double helpings! Delighted we have found you and will definitely make this our stop off to break up our journey and refuel next time we head southwest! �

Went today for Sunday lunch. Had not booked but could of had a table. Didn't bother though as dogs are allowed in all areas where people are eating not what I like at all. It seems that dogs have priority.
