Where to even start....

This venue blew us away from the moment we saw it but neither of us could have expected our wedding day to be as prefect as it was. It is a venue that speaks for itself but when dressed is like something from a magazine! We had so many compliment us on our choice of venue and looking at our wedding photos we can see why! The service provided by everyone involved in the whole process has been beyond words, but especially Anna for making it so easy and for always being there to help and advise! We will never forget this day and are only sad we can't do it again! If you're looking for great value for money, incredible arty pictures, amazing food, great surroundings and a team that will help you imagine your wedding dreams than #teamwestmill are the ones for you!

Where do I even start? We got married on Friday 23rd March 2018 and it was incredible.



The first time we went to view the west mill we fell completely in love. It was different and not traditional which is what we wanted. All floors are just amazing, the bridal suite is spacious and relaxing and it’s huge so lots of space which is something we really wanted. Mirlah our planning manager was just so sweet and put me at ease constantly. I must of emailed her about 50 times over silly small things but nothing was ever a problem. On the day Mirlah was very calming and made sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests were happy. I would definitely recommend the west mill it is truly beautiful and we will never forget our special day. Thanks to Mirlah and all the team for all their hard work xxx Jess & Matt

Where do I begin… we married on the 24th March 2018 and the day was perfect from start to finish all thanks to Emily (our events manager) and the rest of the team. The venue is just spectacular and we knew after our first visit that the West Mill was the right venue for us. We loved the industrial and original features and the fact that we were able to use the whole building. Moving from floor to floor ensured that the day was seamless and our guests commented on how relaxed the day felt and how much they loved the venue and setting. The caterers were fantastic and the food was delicious, again we received many compliments from our guests about the quality of the food and the portion sizes. The evening celebrations took place in The Spinning Room and we danced the night away.



We stayed at the Mill House which was so convenient as it’s just across from the venue. As well as being convenient it was truly stunning inside and is decorated and furnished to the same high standard as the venue. The bridal suite was so luxurious; I could have stayed there for a few days!



We have such amazing memories of our wedding day and the West Mill and the team played such a big part in our special day.

What a fantastic day in one of the most tranquil and beautiful wedding venues I have been to. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. Thank you, an unforgettable day!

What a fabulous venue for Andy and Mim's wedding yesterday 8th September 2018. It has the perfect setting and the decor inside the West Mill is expertly designed to make the perfect place for your special occasion.

I am the mother of the Groom and I was inundated with guests positive comments on this exclusive 4 tiered venue. Each level beautifully designed for the purpose of its use.

We also used the guest house attached to the West Mill for bed and breakfast which was extremely convenient All 8 rooms beautifully furnished and all rooms en-suite. This house was spotlessly clean and a delicious full English breakfast was served in the Kitchen/Dining room as much as you could eat.

The staff evening and morning were friendly and pleasant and could not do enough to meet our every need.

I would highly recommend The West Mill and The Mill House Accommodation.

A big thank you to Andrew and all his staff for getting everything spot on in both the West Mill and Accommodation.

What a day we had on 27th October! The weather was amazing, the day ran smoothly and most importantly the venue was beautiful!



The West Mill is a fantastic place to have your wedding. The staff are friendly, well organised and put your mind at rest in the run up to the day. They are always available and very quick to respond to any queries you might have.



The venue itself is stunning. With four floors all with a “New York loft” feel, but all with beautiful and different characteristics - the stunning lighting in the ceremony Room with the grand piano, the stylish and retro booths in the bar area, the large bright windows in the Breakfast Room and the Love sign and post box accessories in the Reception Area. All the guests absolutely loved it! It was so nice to be somewhere where you didn’t have to wait for a room to be cleared. We were so impressed with everything.



We also had the pleasure of being the first guests in the exclusive West Mill accommodation The Mill House. This is a beautiful building, very well planned and thought out and the decor is stunning. The layout is perfect with eight double bedrooms with a relaxed and luxurious feel. We absolutely loved it and the breakfast was lovely, catering for any dietary need.



Thank you to Andrew, Chrissie and the Accommodation Team for a beautiful venue and accommodation and your help in the run up to the day. A SPECIAL thanks to the amazing Sophie whose planning and help organising the set-up and running of the day was invaluable. You put our minds at rest and we couldn’t have done it without you.

We walk past this place every Sunday on our walks in Darley Park and marvel at its beauty and quirky style, always looking out for a bride to be excited for. This weekend was our turn to be the brides! We had the most amazing day at this stunning venue which was absolute first class from start to finish with excellent staff who make your day magical! Huge thanks to Anna who was fantastic!

We married here on 17th March 2018 and it was just incredible.

We loved the venue from the moment we viewed it and knew it was perfect. Our day went so well and was everything we could of hoped for... even if the party had to end early due to the snow! The most beautiful wedding venue I have ever seen and super proud that I get to say I married here! Thankyou to everyone at The West Mill for making our day incredible and thankyou to Sophie for ensuring everything was just how we wanted it.

We had our wedding here this weekend and all I can say is it was amazing & everything we could have wished for !! Unbelievable service and couldn't have asked for more on our wedding day! Excellent experience from booking the date all the way up until our big day, the venue is incredible and the staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried. If you want to get married in a beautifully unique building with an incredible atmosphere then you won't beat the west mill. We didn't want the day to end and if we had to do it again we'd be back. What can we say…WOW!!!! We knew the venue was a perfect fit for us when we viewed it earlier this year in fact you were the only venue we viewed and we knew it was perfect for our day so stopped the search.



All we have heard from our guests since and even during the wedding was that it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I know that is down to the stunning venue you guys have created and your amazing staff helping it run so smoothly.



We loved every second of it! Can’t believe it is all over! If you are looking for a rustic/industrial venue with original features but all the modern day touches you want at a wedding then look no further! This place is out of this world! There are literally not enough words in the dictionary to explain how fantastic the West Mill really is. I got married here on Sat February 3rd 2018 and it was genuinely the best day ever! Massive thanks to our event planner Karen who was wonderful, helpful and fantastic in the run up and on the day. Genuinely it felt like nothing was to much and I was a very picky/fussy bride who had an exact image in my head of how I wanted everything to look! On every meeting and visit to the venue (there were many) every single staff member helped whether they were my event planner or not, I think I met all the team of the two years of planning and all of them were wonderful. The venue it’s self is like no other with four floors and the most stunning and unique setting you could ever wish for. The West Mill is just incredible. Once we were engaged and looking for venues we knew just from looking at the website we would love the venue and it offered everything we wanted, rustic, character, flexibility and simplistic beauty. Yet when we visited we were just stunned. The place really wows and that combined with the nicest, friendliest and accommodating staff we booked it straight away. The taster day was brilliant, was nice to visit the venue again and the food was delicious.



A few months before the wedding we met Emily at our planning meeting, who was lovely. She went through everything with us and I thought we still had a lot to sort but actually she reassured me we had done more than I thought and was right on track. The day of the wedding I was feeling nervous about everything going to plan as the wedding was very DIY however when I arrived with the bridesmaids everything was done and setup perfectly and I was told to relax and enjoy the day.



My husband and I could really make the most of enjoying the day without anything to worry about and we were so pleased with how smoothly and seamlessly everything ran! All the guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how nice all the staff were.

We have had such amazing feedback from all of our guests, who were just as in love with the venue as we are. The day ran so smoothly, and Emily was an absolute star. The team went out of their way to make everything perfect for us, and I couldn't have wished for anything more. We have just had our pictures back from our photographer and I just cannot stop looking! I knew the minute I stepped out of the car at our first viewing that The West Mill was perfect for us, and it didn't disappoint in any way. I cannot recommend the team, the venue, the location, the caterers any more. Thank you for making my wedding dreams come true!

My daughter Rebecca Bingham married Andrew Brown on 04/02/2018. I cannot really put into words how perfect the day was, the actual place itself is in such a beautiful setting but l have to say it was the staff who topped it. Professional, polite couldn't do enough for us. They made my daughters wedding perfect even with a few hic ups along the way. I would like to say massive thank you to you all. I don't know where to start...a HUGE thank you to #teamwestmill for the most incredible day on 22nd April. Right from the moment we walked through the door back in October 2015, we knew it was the only venue in the running to host our special day. The whole team were great, but a special mention for our Event Manager Emily who was so professional but really made us feel at ease and totally relaxed about the whole process! She went through absolutely every detail with us, and we knew we were in good hands. She was brilliant on the day too. We have had so many comments on how stunning West Mill is, and we feel so privileged that you were able to host our unforgettable day. Thanks again, you guys are amazing!

Honestly, I cannot even begin to explain how amazing the team are, our events manager Nikki was absolutely astounding and did an unexplainably amazing job at making sure our wedding yesterday went smoothly and stress free. Jenkinsons provides amazing food that received non stop compliments from our guests and the Mill House is absolutely stunning... cannot recommend and thank them all enough for making our day absolutely perfect.
