Fancy a hot chocolate at The Wharf Restaurant, South Bank 💁🏻‍♀️

We popped in Sat eve and got a table really quickly, had a choice of inside or out, we chose outside and sat by the warmth which was great. We had a train to catch so caught the eye of a waitress who served us really quickly which was great. Both had burgers, beef and chicken with sweet potatoes fries, both were really delicious. Would highly recommend, couldn't fault it.

We had a wonderful lunch here, the food was excellent prawns, mussels and a really good salad. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and to top it off we watched the fly past for the queens birthday which made it one of our most memorable lunches ever.

Thank you to Chello and Tatiana for making our lunch yesterday a very enjoyable experience, Good food , lovely setting and friendliest of staff

Popped here for breakfast and weren't disappointed. Fresh pastry's, tasty toast and a fabulous cuppa. The granola and natural yoghurt were tasty too. The four of us really enjoyed our breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful too. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I (sounds a bit like Royalty) we really had a good meal.I had the roast dinner which was amazing with three real good thick slices of beef and big Yorkshire puddings and husband had the burger. We would certainly love to come again.

I was there today with a friend, and it was so busy. We both ordered, my friend got her order and I got a wrong one. Since I waited for a long time until they exchanged it, they did not charge me and apologized for the wait. The food was delicious, very professional and considerate staff. I did not even complain about all of this, and yet they made it up. I definitely recommend it and I will surely come again. :D

Great place by the river, attentive service - the best mussels I've had in a long time - thoroughly recommend it

Food was absolutely sublime. Many thanks to all the staff who accommodated us - Tahar the manager, Craig, Mihai and Chelo our waiters - thank you for the amazing meal. Can't wait to return xxxx

Visited this restaurant before & as I don't get to visit London that often thought I'd make an effort to revisit.... the food was lovely as it was before, however the quality of service left a lot to be desired (which is exactly how I felt on my first visit). Just as well the foods good!

I have to say this was a nice find on the river... food was actually very nice if a little cold when it arrived... service was a bit slow but the view and the location made up for it..... would suggest they maybe look to improve the toilets !!!!

The food was ok. The toilets were appalling. Came from the Underbelly festival can honestly say the toilets were cleaner there then at the restaurant.

Food always good - service a bit hit & miss ... the girls are lovely just a tad forgetful ... last visit they brought our mains before our starters ... this time we had to ask for water 3 times ... and I asked for sauces for my burger 2 times and eventually just ate my burger without ketchup :-) ... just forgetful

Often walked past this restaurant over the years and thought last week I would give it a try.... It really was a let down ... I was off to the Southbank for a concert so as mot people who leave work, dash on a train ,, grab a bite to eat there’s a small window of time.

SLAP goes the menu ... no asking would you like a drink?... . from a waitress I never saw again...

Waited another 15 minutes ... before I was actually able to see a staff member .. ah there they all are ... in the kitchen as I walk inside ... having a laugh and giggle while customers like myself wait outside to be served ... Eventually managed to get a waiter over ... after a few surly “In a minute” from some female staff members ... but by that time the 3 courses I had planned became 2....as time ran out ... A starter and Desert .. the seafood platter Starter was good ..but cold .(. in Spain they serve the food cold in UK we like it hot) ... Desert consisted of a stale bit of chocolate brownie... Perfect position ... but NO management and leadership .. (I’ve run busy bars)

My sister and I popped I for a 'quick' coffee on our way to see loose women as we had half an hour to kill, as we were seated we asked for 2 coffees but the waiter said let me get you the menu and he was gone before we had chance to reply, however we saw on the menu an offer of a 'selection' of pastries or croissant with tea or coffee for £2.50 so we opted for that as a coffee alone was more than that so a no brainer really, we asked what pastries they had , to which the waiter replied chocolate croissant or plain croissant!! That was the 'selection!!, so we ordered 2 coffees and 2 croissant, we waited aprox 15 minutes watching as people seated after us were receiving their full cooked breakfasts! We waited another 5 minutes and were about to ask where ours was when our croissants arrived but the waiter had forgotten our coffees, by now we were running very short of time so we requested them in takeout cups we'd been here 30 mins now, we'd eaten the croissants by the time the coffee arrived so we handed over the £5, to which the waiter replied the bill is £7.90!! So we pointed the offer out on the menu so he brought over the manager who said a colleague had made an error and wanted full payment by now we were running very late so we politely refused and left!! Anyway as we got to studio late we ended up stuck on the back row and couldn't see a blinkin thing! Not happy!!

20 minutes to take our order then ten to work out they'd run out of burgers. Can't review the food as they didn't seem to have any. Nice location to sit around for half an hour though...

We came in for fish and chips and an actual hour later the waiter finally comes over and says "guys I got something to tell you the order did not come through". He was rude and had a bad attitude. When he was "checking" for our order he was actually upstairs having a chat. We got the pleasure of watching 3 other tables get served a starter and then a main. Absolute waste of time - appalling service

Just asked for a table for 4 and was told they were full the place was empty must near bankrupt think they run out of food try kfc probably a better bet

I went here last night , I have loved this place for years and have crossed London Just for the calamari!

They did do the best calamari in London but not anymore � last night I was shocked to receive 6 calamari rings that was supermarket , frozen oven baked rubber � I wouldn’t even buy these at home let alone pay £6-£7 for them in a restaurant it’s an absolute joke .

One off the worst meals I’ve ever had and I’ve recommended this restaurant for years . Sadly I won’t be back

I just arrived to this restaurant , in all honesty because my birthday friend from Mexico was cold/ we we wanted a special night x him. I kindly asked the manager if we could half dinner x 3 on the first floor which is normally closed on Sundays. His answer with no hesitation was NO. No empathy that it was a birthday celebration, no interest in making an effort for a special ocasión. It meant nothing to the people here, they will have to clean a table anyway. Just awful attitude and no customer service whatsoever. I will never come here again. If u want a special ocasión do not come here.
