Great service, friendly warm atmosphere, good choice of ales an spirits etc. Just what the doctor ordered :)
Awful place. Seemed too much trouble for the staff to stop smoking and actually serve drinks.
Nice beer garden and staff were friendly. Even switched the bouncy castle on for us (even though the youngest of us was 25 years old).
Didn't stick around for food but prices seemed very cheap.
Excellent choice of four real ales all in good condition and which are changed on a regular basis. Friendly service. Prices reasonable. Just started doing food under the new management and had excellent Sunday roast. A proper unpretentious pub
Very poor. Waited 10min to be served while only 7 other people in there - they didn't make eye contact and no apology for the wait. Said they took cards and when I presented mine one said, "Is is contactless?" to which I replied, "Yes" and she said, "Thank F*** for that." Both bar staff seemed drunk and disinterested. Awful smell of old cooking grease coming up through the floorboards. All this while proudly showing an 'Under New Management' sign out front! Won't last long with service like that.
Had the roast dinner
Would not recommend as the vegetables were over cooked
The roast potatoes not particularly good as they were undercooked
How ever the pork was good
Not worth the price paid
However a nice location and the sraff were nice enough
Maybe a new chef ???
Fantastic pub, nice food, nice people! Better than the Bell Inn up the road!
