An amazing 3 day Festival of Music across the Majestic City of Lancaster from 12th to 14th October 2018. Over 20 venues and 100s of acts to see, listen, dance and sing to. We're filling the Official Lancaster Music Festival gap year with a BANG!

Wow what can I say. Superb service, friendly staff and knowledgeable, large range of beers, food fab, had scallops for starter and lamb for main and both were lush. My husband and parents enjoyed their meals too. Will definitely recommend the White Cross to everyone either for drinks or food in the friendly atmosphere created by all �

Best of all dog friendly, and one of the lovely waitresses made our 3 so happy today with loads of treats.

Went back to the White Cross for the first time in about 15 years, based solely on the trip advisor great reviews. Wow. It's a totally different experience. When we entered, the bar staff got our drinks and asked if we were eating. He then told us to make ourselves comfortable and got us when our table was ready.

Every member of staff was amazing. They were attentive but not in our faces. The food, The Food is Perfection. I have never eaten better. Everything we had was superb. You will not regret your visit, I promise

Sunday lunches were awesome two of us had lamb and one the brisket, tender and delicious with plenty of veg roasties mash and yorkshire pud. My son had the burger which was huge! Great value tasty food. Good service.

Oh my goodness! I've just visited for the first time and I will definitely return asap! Absolutely incredible food. Very tasty lamb dinner and the baked camembert starter was divine. The staff are shining stars- my favourite thing about the visit! Service is very attentive and you can tell the staff are happy and love their job. Thank you!

Lovely place, food was lovely, nice and hot and tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble and an excellent choice of real ale to choose from, would definitely recommend. 😀

Go to this pub all the time, best veggie burger in Lancaster and they gave me treats for my dog! The staff are absolutely awesome and a credit to the owners.

First visit today and we will be back! Excellent choice of guest ales and I loved the IPA selection and fabulous chips! Great views too and friendly chatty staff make the place welcoming.

Taken here by my daughter as she had been told it was dog friendly.

We were all welcomed including our two young Bichon's. They were given water for their bowl and made a fuss off by staff and customers alike.

Our service was fabulous, beautiful starters, order the scallops, to die for.

As a main, I had the lamb. What a fantastic dish.

All the staff were attentive without being intrusive.

After lunch we sat outside by the canal. A fantastic location for all age groups, you can enjoy a relaxing and lovely lunch.

Can't wait to visit again when I'm up visiting my daughter.

Nice roomy pub and on the canal. The car park is a bit tight and they didn’t have their fans on when it’s mid-summer.

Lovely surroundings and staff very friendly. Food was very nice. More choice of Gins please � Have one mabe nxt time.

Food very nice,had a tuna fillet complimented with a lovely tomato sauce on top of a baked potato with I think grilled asparagus.Also had a 8oz sirloin steak medium rare great peppercorn sauce.mushrooms,tomatoes.The steak was (medium) but still ok as the footy was on and I was hungry.great food and service!!

Fabulous day for a meal with friends. The waitress was lovely and we sat on a lovely table in the conservatory with the sun shiny through. The food was amazing, the chips to die for and I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a meal out so much, thank you. You only lost a star as when we moved outside to sit in the sun we couldn't get served as the pub was busy with not enough bar staff. We were settling in for a few hours but left as waiting 15 min plus for a drink is way too excessive, such a shame.
