What a gorgeous pub with great staff & great food. We were a huge party in for a family gathering yesterday and we were so well looked after. We were sorry we didnŌĆÖt have more cash to leave a bigger tip! They were fab!!

Went with family tonight for my daughter's 19th birthday meal. Great food and very attentive staff. What i mean by that is they were there when you needed something. Craig one of the staff was great , polite and lovely guy. The girl taking out orders was very nice too. Thankyou for making my daughter's birthday special. The prices were great and hot food and didn't wait long at all.

We had a party of 9 and the food was excellent and good value for money the staff are very friendly and helpful.

The only negative I can say is that we had to wait approximately 40 mins for the food to come we wasn't in a rush to move onto anywhere else fortunately the food came out altogether and that's probably why we had a delay. All in all great food great service.

We Went to the white Hart today after many years of driving past I have to say I wish had stopped by earlier fantasic staff lovely atmosphere and the food was second to none lovely and homemade I would and will be recommending it to everyone thanks again

Took my Parents there yesterday for their 64th Wedding Anniversay. Being old school, they chose the Homemade Meat Pie, we chose the same. It was one of the nicest pies we've had. The staff were lovely and very attentive. We shall certainly be back. Thank you.

Such a lovely cosy friendly place with fab food too. We take my mum regular who has a wheelchair and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. It's defo turned into one of our favourite places to eat. ’┐Į

Stopped off on the way home as it was the first pub we saw. Struck lucky as the food was good and the service excellent. We will be back.

Out for a drive from Retford, came across this pub and decided to have dinner. Absolutely beautiful Sunday roast with perfectly cooked veg. Now we know why it was packed out. Will definitely venture out that way again for dinner. Will book next time. Lovely friendly staff too. Thanks for a great meal and great friendly service. X

Never been so full in my life quality food lovely service and a chef that can actually do meat well done properly is hard to find

Had a meal yesterday at lunchtime, my husband had steak pie & me & my sister had the quiche, followed by Eton Mess & strawberries & ice cream for my husband. The food was delicious & the staff were friendly & helpful.

Great food. Staff friendly and courteous.

Decided to visit a few times before giving my review, so after our 4th visit I am still trying to find a fault. I have had four different meals and can not fault the food or service, what is a joy about this place is the staff they are all so helpful and know the menu so well. Me and my wife like nice food at a good price and you get great food at the best price at the white hart .

Called in again but this time brought some friends with us. Smashed another mixed grill....(just)...!



Staff warm and friendly and i can honestly say if you intend to go, Call and book a table to avoid disapointment, because you wont be...!!

Beautiful pub serving nice good quality food. I had the home made Quiche which was served with salad chips and coleslaw and my friend had the home made Steak Pie with chips and peas . Both meals were lovely as was the coffees, liqueur coffee and treacle sponge and custard. The prices were very reasonable and the service was excellent. We shall certainly be visiting again.

Another fabulous fireworks display and mulled wine hitting the spot! Thank you to all who work so hard to make it a success every year.

A lovely, welcoming village pub serving good quality food and produce. Myself and my family have had plenty of meals here and every one of them has been thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are always in hand and nothing is too much trouble. The White Hart has a nice ambience and it is always an enjoyable experience for everyone! Keep up the good work ’┐Į’┐Į

A lovely place, food excellent & the service excellent too. Would definately recommend this place for lunch.

Shocking I couldn't choose so opted for the Yorkshire pudding sausage and mash,the 2 sausages must've been the cheapest on the market the whole meal must've been put together for less than a pound !

My 1St visit in 10 years won't be back in a hurry



However the waiter waitress were fantastic shame about the food really sorry for the bad review
