Yes loved it,we were at a wedding and the venue was excellent food,service,staff,the evening buffet was outside and worked well. Everybody I spoke to loved it.

Our room was serviceable,clean and comfortable. However they breakfast is a different story,unorganized,staff looked untrained,the table's were half layed,the breakfast itself was over microwaved. A let down for the rest of the hotel. Hope those review is useful. Xx

We held our Christmas wedding at the White Hart and it was the most perfect day we could ever have imagined. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and they made sure the whole day ran smoothly! The food was fabulous and the Oak Room took my breath away when I first walked in on the day. We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful venue and would highly recommend it to anyone, wether they want a cosy drink, a wonderful dining experience, or the wedding of their dreams. We will be back very soon.

We have been to the white hart numerous times for meals over the years and always had a fantastic time, the best yet was when we got married here in October. The staff were amazing all the way through the planning process and especially on the day itself. The food is always fantastic and the atmosphere is great.

We had our wedding reception at the White Hart on the 8th July 2017, it was amazing. The events team at The White Hart were brilliant and can't be faulted. They did everything before and on the day to make sure our wedding reception and evening went as smoothly as it could. Highly recommend the Pavillion for pre drinks. We wouldn't have gone anywhere else, your truly looked after at The White Hart.

We got married here two weeks ago and could not have asked for a better wedding venue. From start to finish, Mike, Ian, Phil, all the events team and the staff on the day went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect.



The food was a major factor for us when choosing a venue and having dined a few times at the White Hart and The Dining Room we knew it would be exceptional, and it was. Everyone we've spoken to since the day has told us how much they loved the meal and so did we.



Phil and Jacob were brilliant at making sure everything ran smoothly on the day and were there to reassure us at every step, and the service from the bar and waiting staff was superb too. They also made the set-up/breakdown a breeze for us.



The venue is just beautiful and exactly what we were looking for - particularly the Pavilion which allowed us to have a semi-outdoor ceremony with a bit of cover in case of any rain (thankfully it stayed away!). Everyone really enjoyed the pizza out there in the evening too.



The accommodation was beautiful too - both the cottages and the rooms inside the pub made a lovely setting for the getting ready pictures.



I can't recommend the White Hart enough for anyone planning a wedding (or just looking for a good meal/night away). We could not fault a thing and we couldn't have had a better day.



There are too many people we dealt with along the way to thank everyone by name but the biggest, most heartfelt thanks to you all from me and Alessandro for a day we'll never forget x

We got married here last week, 15th July. It was an absolutely perfect day from start to finish. The Oak room and pavilion are absolutely stunning. Food was amazing and could not fault the staff at all. Bedrooms are lovely too. Phil did an amazing job of looking after us all day and everything went as planned! Wish we could do it all over again! We attended my sister in laws wedding on Sunday and my husband and our two girls stayed in the cottage. I would like to thank everyone at The White Hart for a fantastic stay. I think the wedding breakfast and buffet were absolutely delicious.



My main reason for writing a rewiew was to make a special mention to a memebr of staff who I think is called Ann. From the moment I arrived Ann couldn't do enough for us. We arrived early and our rooms weren't ready. She found a quite room off the restaurant for me two get my two daughters into their flower girl outfits. She helped me carry bags, helped get high chairs and was generally fantatsic. A few other members of our party also mentioned how great Ann was. Well done! Job well done.

The perfect location with beautiful decor.



A menu to suit all tastes for a special evening in the classy restaurant area or a stop off visit of an afternoon in the cozy surroundings of the open fire snugs and bar. The wedding venue was something special.



A must visit and you will be made to feel very welcome by the staff.



I can’t recommend highly enough.

Safe to say my wedding here was the best day of my life!!! We were the first couple to get married in the outdoor pavilion and everything ran so smoothly with the help of the staff. There was no stresses and everything was perfect and exactly how we wanted it. The food is to die for!! I've never tasted beef so good!!! Amazing customer service from booking the venue right up to the end. So helpful, friendly and polite. Cannot thank you all enough

Just had our wedding at the White Hart on Saturday and the staff were amazing from start to finish. A big thanks to Jacob who was our master of ceremony, he was very attentive and made sure the day went off without a hitch.



The food as always was amazing. We had salt beef hash brown, lamb and sticky toffee pudding. All the guests commented on how amazing the food was.



The events team were brilliant on the run up to the wedding and everything was so well organised and executed.

Form start to finish I found the white hart staff to be professional helpful and friendly. The venu is amazing, the food is unsurpassed. I would recommend this venue to anybody and not just for weddings. Maria and I could not of hoped for a better day and to beat it all compared to every other venue we looked the value for money is incomprehensible against what others charge for a lower quality venue 5*

Execeptional evening ! What a way to bring in the new year . From the food being of the finest to the ambience of the the whole evening is one venue you must try . The staff were very friendly and helpful . Best New Year evening to date .

Come every year for the day for Whit Friday. Staff are always friendly and helpful even though they’re rushed off their feet! Can’t fault anything and would seriously recommend making the drive up to the pub!

Beautiful hotel with tremendous grounds and views. First class food and huge selection of wines. It is one of the venues for the annual Whit Friday Brass band contest with bands from throughout Britain and Europe. Well worth a visit.

A beautiful hotel in lovely surrounding. Great service from curtious staff. Would definitely recommend it.

A great country style pub and restaurant but with much more. Overnight accommodation, ample free parking and regular events. Worth a visit.

The poor attitude of the manager overshadowed the lovely food. My mum and brother drove out for a Sunday meal yesterday and were made to feel like the restaurant were doing them a favour letting them be seated. The manager who eventually seated them let them order meals without pointing out that there was no sides ordered (vegetables or potatoes) and was rude in general. There are plenty of places that make you feel far more welcome and quite frankly for the money it cost a very unpleasant dining experience.
