What can i say.... popped in for a drink and a quick bite on my birthday. Food was fantastic and well presented by Ben and the service from front of house by Dan and Maddie was perfect!

Went there the other day with a friend the food was amazing , the service was great the new manager was so happy and friendly she clearly loves her job .

Went there earlier today for lunch with a friend and her mum. Had really good food and the staff are amazing. The chicken Yorkshire wrap is a must try

Went in to see the world cup football and it was very busy, but the staff were as polite as ever absolutely brilliant which just makes for a brilliant atmosphere. I also eat here regularly and I really can't find fault with the food in any way.

This pub is situated right in the weymouth town in between the shops and seeing as it was cold and wet and kids were moaning we decided to give it a go there were six adults 4 young children and 1 small dog, we asked if we could bring them in before we all went in ,and a lovely lady said yes more than welcome ,but the dog must stay in the wooden flooring, as they do have a carpeted area at the back, but that was not a problem to us,we eventually found a seat as it was rather busy with football on and food we were only going to stop for a couple of drinks in the end we stay a lot longer, three hours longer to be exact, we decided to have a mixture of food to nibble at ,nachos,chicken wings and two platters to share all very tasty but I do wish they would use proper cheese on the nachos as the cheese sauce spoils it , the manager is awesome she was so friendly and came and got to know my grandchildren she even let each of them choose a bauble off the Christmas tree to take home with them which delighted them to the max ,as we were leaving one granddaughter was upset so she gave her the star from the top of the tree which I think she will treasure for years so may I say thank you to her you made three little girls feel very special and happy all in all a lovely friendly pub to visit that makes you feel very welcome we found out she hasn’t been there very long but I do hope they keep her there as she will do an excellent job x

Myself and my wife go there every time we go to Weymouth always had a great meal and very good service I would recommend the food to anyone �����

My partner and myself always come in here for a meal as the staff are friendly and very helpful. But even better than that is that they always have delicious food. No better place to wine and dine.

My daughter and myself went in for lunch. We hadn’t been in for a very long time as the food used to be appalling....however, different staff all friendly especially the manager who I saw made us and everyone in there more than welcome. A much nicer menu, staff and feel to the pub......will definitely be going again...give it a try!

Lovely pub in the middle of Weymouth well worth a visit . The manager was amazing such a customer focused lady. If you visit this lovely part of Dorset please take some time out to visit this pub .

It was really lovely and the lovely lady somehow over charged us for jam lol with the chicken platter but soon rectified her mistake and returned our pound ... very honest as we didn't even notice we will return .

Had a burger and a pint at the pub when watching the football, great service from a lady called siobhan, quick and easy to order and the burger was massive and really good. Nice little spot in the centre of town !

Great service, and lovely food. Took advantage of the 2 meals for £10.49, we both had a pie. Really good size meal, and the mash potato was amazing.

2nd time I've been this fortnight as enjoyed the meal so much

Been here 3 time recently to have lunch. Twice I have been massively impressed by the food, once not so much. I can definitely vouch for the lasagna and hunter chicken they were absolutely delicious. The burger I had really wasn’t good at all. The burger was a bit dry and the bun was solid, way over toasted. I remember the burgers here being amazing a while ago, maybe new management or chef changed it but the old burgers were far superior. Choose anything other than the burgers and satisfaction is guaranteed.

Staff were very friendly but short staffed. Our food was quick but average. Bits were missing ie tomatoes from steaks and onion rings from the burgers. Steaks were chewy and dry on the edges but medium rare in the middle. �. Average value for money. Lots of food and napkins under tables etc. Desserts however were presented lovely.

I know when we visited on Friday there were kitchen staffing problems and some foods not available due to a non order so this could not be helped. I think the senior portions were rather small tho. I may be older but my appetite is still very good .

Such a shame its a lovely pub but the food took ages to come out got told half hour wait but waited well over 45 mins. The supervisor did give kids complemety drinks. When the food came it was lovely and hot and plenty of it kids enjoyed theirs, we didnt wait for the kids puddings as this was nearly 9pm by this time staff applogised and gave them jelly pots each. Staff were friendly and pub was lovely ok if your prepared to wait a long time. Nice pub for a drink such a shame as the food was good.

me and my partner Went her months ago and had the lasagne it came an hour later with it looking like charcoal and the small amount in the center that looked ok was not cooked and tasted that bad I had to spit it out I then sent it back and hade the macaroni cheese this consistent of mush and some sort of sauce I would not call it macaroni cheese we also had our child with us I went to change her but there are not facilities for changing a baby went to the counter to ask and I was told we are a pub we don't cater for children my question then why do you have a kids menu and kids are ok to come in ?



Today we thought lets try it again to see if it improved ! No I have hunters chicken my bit of chicken was that small it could just about feed a mouse also nearly broke the plate trying to cut it my partner also had a burger it tasted like someone put a tin of dog food on top of a burger

Well disgusted told it take fourtymins that’s bad enough then it takes an hour then we gets an apology by chef saying he had to cook more roasters he said about five mins it be ready so that’s one hour and five mins and out comes the dinners starts eating dinners and it’s all cold accept these roasters had enough of there apologies called the manager and all she said was sorry I said is that it asked for my money back and then she said next time you come you get twenty five percent of well sorry there’s something not right in that you should get Gordon Ramsey’s in to sort it disgusting treatment to customers be aware of this pub in future waisted are time all for a Sunday lunch wrongly treated

Geez... where do I start?! Pre booked table with a high chair and my poor child had to sit under the table because the high chairs didn’t come close to reaching the height of the stupid table they sat us on. We were also told no problems were a family friendly pub blah blah blah... bloody place didn’t even have baby changing facilities!!! What a joke! It’s okay I’ll just change my 10month olds dirty nappy in full public view on a table that the next person has to eat from yeah?! (Luckily I have more sense and asked cineworld next door if we could use theirs!)

Now the food... burnt, overcooked, disgusting need I say more?! Oh and that’s if your lucky enough for them to have got your order right the first time!!

I’ll give them 1 star and that’s purely for the lovely staff.. had it not have been for the very bubbly friendly service from some lovely people it’s safe to say I would have walked back out at the beginning so well done for getting at least one thing right!
