The White Rabbit restaurant is where it's accessible to come and try modern cooking techniques with great flavour in a friendly atmosphere in a local town

The White Rabbit is a modern British restaurant, owned and operated by chefs Robyn and David Gledhill.

It was established in October 2015 and has rapidly established itself as the establishment of choice for people near and far and those seeking the finest, most imaginative food.

Opening The White Rabbit was a joint dream for Robyn and David; after both working as professional chefs for a number of years they both felt it was time to pursue their own vision and passion for food in a space they could put their own stamp on.

The White Rabbit strives to provide high quality dining in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Menus are created using both classic and modern techniques to create fascinating, often unique dishes often linked to the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland.

Things can be unexpected, playful and sometimes even slightly BONKERS !



The White Rabbit is situated in the centre of the Pennine market town of Todmorden and is close to bus and rail links.

Food is served from Wednesday to Saturday from 12. 00 to 2. 00 pm and again from 5. 30 to 9. 00 pm.

Every Wednesday and Thursday Evening (5. 30-8. 30pm) & Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Lunch time (12-2. 00pm) we run a special offer come enjoy our Five Course Tasting Menu for just £25pp.

The a la carte and tasting menus change every month and are served Wednesday - Saturday at both lunch and dinner. The tasting menus are available with an optional matching wine flight allowing customers to experience a range of different dishes and wines.

Please note that we politely ask the whole table has to all dine from either a Tasting Menu or order from the A la Carte, we cannot split the table due to the nature and timing of a tasting menu.

The White Rabbit allows Children in the Restaurant at lunch time (except special events i. e brunch & wine tastings ), however be aware we do not offer a children’s menu and you must make the restaurant aware of children attending when booking. In the evening we operate an over 12yrs old policy due to the adult environment and size of the restaurant. Should you have a child that is a budding food critic or chef younger than 12yrs old but you feel would like to dine with 2 /3 courses A la Carte or eat a tasting menu please enquire via phone.

Produce is always sourced as locally as possible, The White Rabbit is a strong believer in using food and supporting producers from the beautiful rural area of Todmorden and Calderdale.
