Dear Wild and Alternative folk,
The last few month of my life have felt pretty awful, after a break up I lost my child tax benefits, my camera broke, anxiety flared up and I couldn’t afford to stay in my home and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I ended up homeless in what has felt like an utter black hole with my two children and in this chaos I’ve not had the energy or ability to keep up with work moving from one place to another.
... I’ve finally secured some accommodation but it isn’t in the best state and it’s going to take some time to repair it before it feels like home.
I’ve always been the type of person that has given to those less fortunate when I could, I’ve went out of my way to collect items for communities in difficult situations and I am baseline kind to everyone. All I’m trying to say here is that your life could be whipped from beneath you when you’re least expecting it and to take a moment over this weekend to appreciate what you do have and the love that surrounds you.
As I’m starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the family and friends that have been there for me and had my back and to my clients who have unknowingly been patient and awesome.
I’ll hopefully be back to full strength and my internal flame will burn again soon and I’ll be back to business in May when myself and my little boys will be settled in a permanent home.

Hey all, I just wanted to catch you up on where I am as I've been so quiet on all social media fronts.
I've had a really awful start to the year and what feels like an incredibly testing time. I just wanted to send you all love and thanks to my clients for being incredibly patient with me.

We loved working with Nicola for our family portraits. She was great at getting in different styled poses from us in several locations across the park. She knew exactly how to interact with our little one who had just turned one to get the best photos possible! We received the photos from Nicola in about a week, sooner than we expected! Nicola is a lovely lady, we enjoyed getting to know her, and will certainly do more family sessions with her again in the future! x

We had an outdoor family shoot with Nicola. She was great, made us feel totally relaxed and we thoroughly enjoyed the shoot. She even managed to make our wild 2 year old comply!

We had a little photo shoot with our 1 month old following a maternity shoot earlier this winter. The images that resulted are beautiful and help make beautiful memories. Nicola has a relaxed approach and the photoshoot was a fun experience. We would really recommend investing in a photoshoot.

We had a great family session with our newborn baby. Nicola made us feel really comfortable even though we get a bit embarrassed in front of the camera.

The photos are exactly what we wanted and not too cheesey. She was also super quick to get them edited and back to us.

Would definitely recommend and I’m sure we’ll see her again.

Nicola photographed our wedding on 17th March 2018, and we are over the moon with the photos we've see so far! Not only is Nicola extremely talented, and clearly has an eye for the magical shots, but she is a genuinely lovely person too!!! We booked Nicola last year following a recommendation, and right from our first consultation my partner and I felt comfortable and knew we made the right choice! Nicola was me at home on the morning of the wedding capturing the "getting ready shots" And was then able to get to the venue before me and get some shots of my hubby to be also. Then from the ceremony right up to going home after our first dance Nicola was fully focused on capturing the perfect shots which captured the beautiful memories of our day. The weather caused a couple of issues as it was freezing cold and snowing on/off all day and night but Nicola also knew when to take advantage of some of those moments...and we have some truly outstanding pictures to treasure forever, as let's be honest not many people can say it snowed on their wedding day!! I am so glad we chose Nicola to spend our day with us!! I would highly recommend Nicola to anyone, not just for weddings but also for family sessions etc. We've actually booked a session for our babygirl in the very near future!

Nicola has photographed myself and my children the last 2 summers and she captures the love between us with style and elegance. I have also hired her to take some professional photographs for my dance company and she has a way of telling a story in each image she takes. I would highly reccommend her for her unique vision, friendly personality and creative approach.

My Mum treated me to one of Nicola's summer specials as an early birthday present and I am delighted with the results! She captured some stunning images of my two little ones despite my toddler behaving exactly as you would expect a two year old who hadn't had a nap to (!) and had a great way of making it fun for them and relaxing for me.
