are not embarrassed.

The warden and the facilities are nice. Now for the bad.
We had the misfortune of booking for Easter.
From the looks it's a static site that is failing so it's diversified into touring.
The electrics were sub par and kept tripping back at the main fuse box. This meant that the owner had to be called out to reset the master fuse. This happend 3 times during a 4 night break. With the power out for about 30 caravans, what I find most frustrating was the fact no attempt was made to get somebody to repair the issue and can only sumize that this was due to the site being over subscribed. I can honestly say I will never go there again.

I mistook this park for a busy holiday campsite but instead it is a quiet and peaceful site with just the essential amenities and with staff that have a willingness to help. The communal areas were kept clean and tidy and were pleasant to use. I would like to say a big thank you for going out of your way to help. A courtesy that is often lost at so many places.

We visited this site in 2015 very basic a trip down memory lane, the toilets were clean and the warden lovely, however, our booking experience was horrendous, rude, agent, but we over looked that when we asked the children where would you like to go, for spring bank and the said withernsea, so once again I called the site, to be spoken to rudely when I asked if they had 2 pitches available to book our vans on 4 adults, 4 children 10nights, he demanded I paid there and then otherwise I couldn't book as 'they were very busy' same story last year and over half the pitches had been empty, I said needed to consult with my family, rudeness again from the agent, who then put the phone down. Thus we have booked elsewhere.

Such a shame. Beautiful location, clean but old fashioned. Warden and his wife lovely, bar owner nice, just rude sales staff stopping bookings taking place ;(
