Very, very friendly staff. Quick service and possibly the best 10oz Fillet steak I have ever had.
Came for a quick visit with family whilst caravaning at Coniston and loved the warm friendly interior. Dogs are welcome in the bar area and the restaurant is beautifully kept and presented. Portions were huge and cooked to perfection. Will definitely be coming back.
This is an authentic lake district in with a very nice bar and eating area. It also offers accommodation. There is seating outside as. well. The ladies toilets are quite unique.
A fish tank.... in a red telephone box?!?!... 5/5 just for That! .. seriously though this is a nice quaint pub with a huge beer garden. Loads of drinks to choose from
Called in for prawn sandwiches. Tasted delicious, bread was freshly made and absolutely lovely. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Very pleasant place.
The crappest service I have ever had. They weren't doing half of their menu. You had to collect your own food if sat in garden even if not busy and if on own can mean several trips. The servers couldn't be bothered to find anything similar when they didn't have the food you wanted. Not going back, not worth spending money on. It's the middle of July in the middle of the afternoon and their menu has barely anything that isn't sold out. Don't bother going.
We visited the deli, not the pub. A few nice bits within but the veg we bought was inedible and we sadly had to throw it away. The fishtank inside the telephone box is a cool, quirky addition.
Nice little country pub. Huge beer garden. Food looked good
Nice pub, gets quite busy. Didn't eat here but checked out the menu, looks quite expensive.
Had the most amazing food here today. Visited the deli yesterday and sat outside in the sun with a coffee, food was that good went for a meal today with 8 guests the service was great and the food was the best meal I've had in a very long time!!
