It is a great British pub. Fair price allways busy but some available space at lunch. Very tasty and friendly staff. Some Brits like to complaine about certain things they should be a shamed as this is destroying good reputational places. Don't belive all write ups about this place as I have experienced allways good things.

One of the best pub lunches we've had. Went for the express 3 course deal for £15. All 3 courses were delicious and beautifully presented. Real attention to detail here makes it worth a visit.

Lovely garden, well cooked food. Only downsides were poor kids food and drink selection it wasn't the fastest and staff weren't the most enthusiastic.

A typical village pub in the quiet village of Hollingbourne selling a good selection of beers and spirits along with good quality food.

Always receive a very warm welcome by all staff and chef's, made to feel more like friends than customer's, my family who are not local are also remembered, even when they visit without us. The food is always fresh and awsome, nothing is ever to much trouble and my husband, friends, family and myself aways have a fantastic evening/time wether it be for drinks or a meal. Alex behind the bar is a fantastic cocktail maker making every single drink with professional perfection, always being able to come up with just the right drink whatever your mood, he also serves in the restaurant with the same professionalism. Everyone always greets us with a hug and a kiss (Andrea, George, Alex, Rob and Will headchef when we are lucky enough to catch him out of the kitchen) and we are truly lucky to have such a friendly place serving delicious food on our doorstep.

Absolutely amazing afternoon lunch. Great service and qaulity food in a lovely setting with staff that cant do enough for you.
