π’BREAKING NEWS:π’ CEO of The Women's Organisation Maggie O'Carroll joins Mayor Joe Anderson and other city leaders in calling for the government to rethink the roll out of Universal Credit in Liverpool.
π£"Universal Credit poses a very real barrier to those who depend on benefits and wish to become self-employed to launch their own start-up business. More than this, the one payment per household system poses an even greater threat to vulnerable women who may be at risk of domes...tic abuse and is one which the government must urgently reconsider." say Maggie.

The Women's Organisation helped me set up my own business back in 2011 and invited me for a number of very useful workshops. Today, five years on, I'm a successful translator with an established base of clients. Their support was invaluable. All I can say is thank you very much The WO, you're doing a great job supporting women in business!

Love them all in the Women's organisation. Such a supportive and empowering place and group of individuals, working collectively to get you started, established, growing, building and strengthening your business.
Excellent courses on offer at affordable prices, particularly when starting out you need that knowledge.
I completed a 4 week Change It course at the Women's Organisation. The course was informative and interested. It really did change the way I thought and approached things in life. I left feeling more confident and positive and was able to use my new found confidence to really well myself at a recent job interview, a role I subsequently offered. It also gave me the strength to assert myself more and I'm finding the courage to say no when necessary. I can not thank you enough.
Great place. Jo and Bernie were brill on the Boost your Business 2 day course. Well recommended
Great local service for women in business and life skills, highly supportive and encouraging, couldn't recommend any higher!

Don't know what I would have done without the Women's Organisation setting up my business 'Katie Diane's Beauty' ... The courses I went on were so helpful, easy to understand and any questions I had were 100% answered. I can't speak highly enough of my adviser Yan, who is so knowledgable and fantastic at her job. I could book appointments with her in person if I wasn't sure of anything, or even just drop her an email or occasional phone call, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to all!
Brilliant to have such great support in the early stages of planning and setting up a business. Thank you for all of your help!
