Wow, what a fantastic pub! Whilst on holiday at Camber Sands we wanted to find a country pub for dinner one night. I would highly recommend this pub, the food is all home cooked, huge portions and good value for the money! The staff were friendly and helpful and the overall atmosphere of the pub was lovely! We shall be returning the next time we are in the area.

We took the kids here for lunch, lots of choice on the menu. Lovely food, plenty of it and great service. Definitely will be going back x

We have eaten at The Woolpack three times and never been disappointed.The food is fresh and service is great..Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and they even keep smiling when they have just the few difficult customers..10/10 each time..See you very soon...

Took my other half here after we heard it was under new management.

Was not dissapointed! Excellent T-bone steaks cooked rare, biggest bit of steak we've seen in a while, great quality meat and cooked to perfection.

Great atmosphere and a plesant meal all round, just had to watch my head on the low ceilings :D

Sat in beer garden and had lunch after an outing to Sissinghurst...lovely and tranquil...food was great �

Lovely freshly cooked food. Staff are very friendly, nothing too much trouble. But don’t tell everyone or we may not be able to get in. Wish they would take bookings though.

Just visited here and I have to say we all enjoyed it, with two Autistic children in tow they were very accommodating and all the food was delicious, will be back in the summer to enjoy the garden... if not before�

Just had the best roast beef dinner ! Meat was tender, 4 vegetables & 'real' roast potatoes !!!

Had a lovely lunch in the beer garden , the food was very good and the staff were polite and helpful ................could do with some bases for the umbrellas but apart from that it was superb will be going again

Good news to hear Mr Ivy has gone. in former times this pub would not have been as low as 3.8 rating and my sister gave it a 5 star so its good for me.



When im back from germany next month i will come for a visit for sure

Fabulous dressed crab salad, we will be back! The specials are always good value and I wish I'd had room for a dessert, they looked amazing.

A beautiful pub recommended to me by my dad. Lovely staff and warm atmosphere! Will definitely be back for lunch next time I'm in the area!

Great pub very friendly and happy staff and we both had rump steak and it was cooked to perfection and good value for money👍🏻

Nice food but the wait for it was far too long had to sit for 2 hrs for a starter and main. With at least 45 mins wait between courses. And it wasn’t over busy for a Sunday . Didn’t dare ask for coffees or desserts as we would’ve been waiting another hour. Friendly staff though. Have been before but service was a lot quicker.

Bar staff fantastic as always....Had a few meals in the woolpack and love it. But this time it was nowhere near as good ...i had classic burger and chips....burger was ok. Salty.chips use to be large think cut tasty chips now very standard chips and over cooked. Meal didnt look all that nice really.. No side salad or anything to present it nicely.....partner had chicken kief....not homemade...very average frozen iceland kind of thing.and yes over cooked chips.... and to wait an hour for that seems a bit to long ...We was surprised and disappointed.. as now i would describe it as very average.. the.menue looked large.mabe thats why the.kief was a frozen cheap thing. I hope it gets back to what it was..

Drinks served in glasses so filthy you could scrape the grime off. Old bits of lemon / food stuck to the inside of "clean glasses" when staff approached about this "oh we can't see it in the dark pub" here's another (filthy) one". Then expected husband to pay for another pint when he saw how filthy the first one was served in after a few sips. Paid over £11 for lamb shanks and got served the lamb special priced at £8 something. After waiting over half hour for food. Then told oh it's ok we will get you the shanks when told staff to cancel shanks order as no point waiting another half hour to eat on own when others in party had finished...jumped up man behind the bar states "don't come back again" under his breath. Don't worry matey, we won't. Shocking service and rude staff. Filthy glasses. Won't be going back in a hurry.

We phoned to check to see if we had to book a table for 5. got back na love just come and we will fit you in. turned up waited at bar for 10mins then rudely got told 5 min wait for table but only for 4 then walked of discussing service you get a better service at McDonald's
