Stayed two nights, great atmosphere and staff are very friendly. Rear room overlook car park and the pub "chiller"? fans can be heard. Room was v clean & good size, comfy bed, large bathroom with plenty of hot water. Breakfast & Food was also good... we would stay again if stopping in this area.

Smart looking bar/restaurant. Food was reasonably priced and tasty. Staff were nice. A good stop for lunch.

Lovely friendly pub and warm atmosphere and friendly staff. We visited whilst camping locally and although we did not eat in the restaurant the food smelt delicious and those eating certainly seemed to be enjoying their meals. Will definitely go again and have a meal next time.

Went to woolpack pub and kitchen on 7th December 2016, there were 4 of us and I must say the experience was very enjoyable , atmosphere very comfortable, food excellent, and very warm and cosy, I will be going there on more of a regular basis, staff excellent especially , Johnathan, I think that was his name as he took a photo with our Camara for us , woolpack well done , on all round service and excellent food .

Very friendly service. Food fresh and servings generous but only offers a limited bar menu of baguettes and sandwiches. No full meals as such. I would be very happy to return.

Flat iron steak was cooked to perfection and so flavoursome I am surprised it is not more widely available.
