Wonderful Sunday lunch on Mother’s Day. The chorizo and croquettes are worth the visit alone! Food was that tasty our 8 year old spent time between courses choosing food for her next visit!

Amazing selection of small plates, although not a veggie I always have at least one of their veggie dishes as they are amazing. Staff are lovely too & some nice beer. Love thay way they have music on especially the Dj's

Love the place. Amazing food. Clever ideas and beautifully presented. Found the workshop after seeing them and meeting the chef at the Liverpool food festival. Made a special trip from St. Helens to try it late last year and was amazed. Just been today for lunch and me and the wife are returning on sat 10th Feb for an evening meal. Can't wait! My hotel is booked nearby! Bring it on!

Last nights dinner was out of this world!! Shared 6 small plates between 2 of us with some bread, olives and a cheeky pud! The Caribbean bowl was soooo tasty and the lobster and crayfish macaroni was unreal!! Top service and boss staff! Can’t wait to come back!!!

I have been to The Workshop many times and I've always enjoyed my day / evening there. When I was looking for a venue for my hen do, this was the place I wanted! Thank you so much for all the effort that was put in, the room was set up brilliantly. I was able to decorate the room the way I wanted and I had the option to play my own music. The food was amazing! All my guests were delighted with Buffett. Thanks again to the staff for getting involved and ensuring that I had a great night!!

Hosted both mine and a friends baby shower at The Workshop. Food was amazing and staff were so helpful and friendly! Would certanly recommend using the venue for a private party and we hope to be back soon!!

Great choice of menu cooked to perfection and with evident passion. Relaxed and cool atmosphere with music so good it almost distracts from the food! Love it here.

Fabulous - the lobster and crayfish macaroni was sublime. Should have took pics before starting to eat, but I just couldn't stop eating, the presentation was great. Can't get that macaroni out of my head - it was on the specials, I would LOVE it to be there next time I go!

Boss staff, boss djs and always boss music playing, what more could you want!! Probably the best bar in Merseyside at the moment!! Get on the squidfist!!

Booked here though Quandoo, when we arrived, no booking was made as they don't use Quandoo facilities anymore.. However the manager was very obliging & fitted us in even though they were very busy on a Saturday night..The food was exceptionally good, as was the knowledge & choice of wine. Would definitely recommend & visit again.

Absolutely amazing. Chose this place as wanted a nice place to chill and catch up with old friends for the afternoon. From the moment we walked in our lovely server Val made us feel right at home, explained everything on the menu and all the drinks available. Ordered 11 dishes (great offer on) and they all came together, hot and fresh. Nice one Chef John. Ended up there for about 3hrs, no rush and really looked after us.

Saved room for the sticky toffee pudding, glad I did! You can tell everything was made on site, delicious.

A lovely place, I was a little hesitant at first, but no need. The service was lovely. The staff work very hard and look after your every need. Made me, my husband and our little girl (8 months) feel very welcome. The food is wonderful but the small plates are not so small. That is not a bad thing I felt I got try a little something from every part of the menu. Thank you for a wonderful meal and a lovely time. X

You may need to book if you want to sit down & ear. It is tiny inside as upstairs was not open
