staff very friendly. food fantastic. great atmosphere. plenty of parking and the prices are very good. Did I mention the food was fantastic. pork belly to die for.

Went for a quiet lunch. The staff were very attentive and helpful. I am a wheelchair user and they helped sort me out with a table that suited my footplates. The food was bought out quickly and was delicious. I had the H & W burger and my friend had the ploughmans. We were both impressed with the quality of the ham and cheese that came with the ploughmans. There was a wide choice of beers and ciders. We will definitely be back.

This is one of my favourite pubs! Always visit when passing 👍🏿😄Got day guys you need to improve your signage from the road! If you didn’t know it was there you could easily end driving past to The Botany bay😳😳❤️

The staff were lovely, atmosphere was great and the food was superb. It was really reasonably priced as well. Would highly recommended it!

Really welcoming pub - friendly staff and lovely food. Stopped in on our way back from Devon and it was just what we needed.

My wife and I live just down the road from here. We often call in on the spur of the moment. Never had a problem getting a table, food has always been great and the staff are very friendly.

A very friendly pub with an interesting food menu. The interior is different with plenty of space. It was packed when we turned up wihout booking but we sat at a table in the bar area. Only difference was that we had to order at the bar but the food was delivered to our table so not a hardship. Would advise booking as it is always busy apparently. Would recommend making the effort to go though.

Went for lunch yesterday on Bank Holiday Monday. Super busy but happy to wait and enjoy the sunshine. Waited a little long and when enquired about our lunch, was advised there had been a mix up with our order. Immediately the member of staff apologised and gave us a full refund. Our ploughmans with extra ham and blue cheese arrived shortly afterwards and were worth the wait. Absolutely delicious. Very generous portion which we couldn't finish. All in all a lovely afternoon. Great customer service and my boyfriend advises the cider wasn't too bad either! 😂 Definitely coming back for dinner later in the week. Great wee find x

Staff were friendly and efficient...drinks order taken ...and the 5 varied meals arrived and were all very tasty...a good experience in atmospheric pub

Booked 1/2hr before. Staff pleasant food arrived not long after we ordered and was very nice but I feel a bit overpriced

Went in today, not been for 2 years or so, was rather disappointed. My husband and I booked a table for 2 and were seated between 3 family's with children, one seemed to be a child's party, but we were given a new choice of table when asked. There appeared to be a lot of staff on which is great when a pub is busy and a hinderancewhen not, 5 staff standing in the same location waiting for work to do. Food was mediocre and I've never been a fan of not being asked if I want pudding and then assuming I want a pudding menu, which meant more waiting so I decided to attend the till to pay. £35 for mediocrity.

Really disappointed with the place went here with my family for dinner ordered the food waited a while for the drinks and starters when they eventually came out they forgot my dads starter while we were all eating he was still waiting then after the starters we were told there was a 45 min wait on our main because we ordered starter now I don't think that's acceptable just because we ordered starters why should we have to wait for main that length of time when they eventually came out the standard and taste was very poor considering your a pub I would have thought you would have used real potatoes in stead of instant mash very disappointed with this place and say we definitely won't be returning

Long wait for food even though we had booked..took drinks order very quickly, then food order but waited at least 30 minutes for it to arrive although we were better off than the two tables next to us who waited about an hour! There also seemed to be a lot of food which was unavailable even though we booked for 12-15 which is the start of lunchtime..I wasn't impressed with my meal ( I don't like frozen chips ) & the custard I had for dessert was tinned & lukewarm. I won't be going back unless things improve as there were a lot of people complaining hence the 2 stars!

Had worse I suppose although I can’t remember when!. Considering we gave 4 weeks notice that 8 people would be turning up at the same time for a small celebration lunch was not great, the food was cold the meat was grisly and the service could have been better although the servers were very polite. Won’t be going back for a long time.

Wouldn’t even bother. Duty managers attitude was nothing less than appalling. Once I complained she sent her young waitress to deal with the complaint and hid (never saw green cardigan manager again). Young waitress number one was helpful and apologetic. Along comes waitress number two with another vile attitude. I know the customer is not always ‘right’ however after an hour and quarter we were one starter in with no mains. Pre ordered for 19. When asked how long our meals would be the duty manager had no concept of customer service and we “couldn’t jump the que” something I wasn’t asking at all. Simply wanted to know how long our meals would be roughly. She then denied to another member of the family RE the que jumping comment. We drove half an hour to get to the Worlds End and was looking forward to our meal however left very disappointed. As I said before - don’t bother.
