Hi guys, long time no speak....I haven't really been checking this page (i haven't really needed to!)....but I've notived we've been getting some good reviews and whilst i love to shamelessly steal praise, the actual recipients should be @theyewtreeinnandlodges....credit where credit's due and all that....so now I've decided to get my arse in gear the plan is to try and turn this page into a bit of outside bar and hog roast promotion so its a bit easier to get hold of me if that's something you need (if that's not your bag just 'unfollow' us).....also, if the right pub comes along (never say never) you'll be the first to know! Cheers! X

Ok guys you win,we're all shattered so early finish tonight.....back to usual (whatever that is) tomorrow. It's been a very pleasant Christmas period and a true pleasure to be able to assist you to your varying degrees of inebriation. Thanks to everyone for working so hard too. I haven't booked any music yet for this year with everything being 'a bit up in the air'....hopefully that will soon be sorted one way or another but suffice to say if anyone fancies a gig tomorrow eve then give me a shout. Great weekend just gone with Pete Wearn and DoubleCross...this is the Craic this weekend and its one to look forward to with The Star Botherers at 9 on Saturday and Swamptrash at 5 on the Sunday :-) x

Sooooo were starting to do music ( and pizzas ) Sunday evenings.....what better than a bit of out and out Irish to help the booze go down on a bank holiday Sunday......

What's not to love about The Yew Tree. Chris and his team at the pub can't do enough to ensure customers go home with a huge smile on their face. Did I mention the excellent regular live music, too? I didn't? Oh yes, they have excellent regular live music too.

The pizza is awesome too.

Pizza again Wednesday .......or was it Thursday? Lose all sense of time at the Yew Tree! Sarah and the girls great as usual and the Pizza? Simply the very very best.



Pizza Express are just amateur by comparison! Just go there!

One of those place that just gets it right. Good beers, excellent rum and the food is superb. All reasonably priced and often with good live music thrown in. A friendly, relaxed management with great staff resulting in a lovely atmosphere. Perfect.

Love this place sorry to see it go. Great food, great booze and good music

Location, food and friendliness, will be popping in again.

Just had 4 months staying in the lodge next to the Inn so went in most week nights for a couple and my tea beer food excellent staff all friendly and polite all work together making an excellent team gutted to be moving on but i will return for a visit.

Thanks to Chris and all his staff

Just got home from another cracking night in the yew Tree the band was fantastic staff are friendly great atmosphere we feel so lucky to have this pub on our door step we have also had meals here they were fantastic couldn't fault them can highly recommend the yew tree our dog comes with us too from Lynne Jon and Bailey the dog X

Great pub run by beautiful people �thank you so much for letting us take over for the weekend �

Great place. Amazingly accommodating staff! Prepared me a vegan sauce which was delicious. Would definitely recommend to people!

Great place! And they do yummy home made pizza's.

Friendly, welcoming team that enabled a wonderful event to take place.

Brilliant beer, food, atmosphere and band i will be going again.

Beyond amazing - you are all incredible, will never forget this weekend x

Been a regular for a while but tonight was excellent. Moved away from the good wood fired pizzas to have an excellent poached pear and goats cheese starter and an unctuous spaghetti bolognese.

A good selection of beers an' cider, stunnin' pizza, comfortable rooms, affable staff an' live music on the weekends all overseen by a damn fine host. Couldn't ask for more.
