We attended to last years show which was also incredible.

Free crisps too and friend.
Well done to you all again this year, just been to see panto and it was the best ever.
PG best panto dame, brilliantly funny.
If you havent seen it, please go amazing to you all and see u again next year xxx
We saw the relaxed show of Dick Whittington today & i cannot thank the staff enough for how welcoming & helpful they were with our autistic son infact he was so comfortable he managed to go in to the auditorium for the last part of the show after spending time in the foyet so a huge thank you thoroughly enjoyed it and the cast were amazingx
We come every year and we are never disappointed, kids laugh we laugh great family time. Thank you to all the actors and behind the scenes crew that work so hard during the panto season. Can't wait for the next one
Took my three granddaughters to see Wizard of Oz, show was great, we had front row seats,
so a great view.
The theatre is small but welcoming with a snack bar, restaurant and a lunch curly outside area to relax before the show starts, would definitely recommend and go back again 😊
This is a great venue but cakes not quite as good as a few weeks ago. Going again next two Saturdays so will see how the cakes are.
This afternoon I went to see Great Expectations and it was absolutely brilliant, I can highly recommend it.
The performance of Cats by GSA’s final year MBA Musical Theatre student was brimming full with so much young talent on one stage. There were so many stand out performances. As a cast they were so together in their movement and harmonies I had several ‘goosebump moments’. I wish them all well in their future stage careers and may they fulfill their dreams.
Small and personal I love this theatre. There is a large public car park next door so parking is easy. The atmosphere is relaxed and the many plays I have seen here have been stadged to West End standard and were very moving. Good coffee and free wi-fi just make an evening here more pleasant. I would recommend wholeheartedly. I skip the musicals but have not ever seen a bad play here. The only downside is that the seats don't have a huge amount of leg room (I always book an isle seat).
Regulars at this well regarded venue. We had a pleasant evening wrapped up in the American family & social dynamics of Miller's classic: Death of a Salesman. Excellent thought provoking performances by all involved.
My 8 year old granddaughter and I loved cats. Such a lively talented production. The dancing was perfection, the singing sublime such powerful voices. I hope we will see more or these talented people.
Only thing that did disappoint us was no merchandise available! Thought we’d be able to buy the iconic T-shirts black with eyes on. Missed a trick. Maybe not permissible?
Moved to Guildford June 2016, love having this fabulous theatre on my doorstep. It offers both brilliant entertainment & relaxing eating places for their tasty food. All the staff are so helpful & friendly. Thank you.
Lovely theatre with all you need at excellent prices and fantastic shows xx
Lovely night out. Superb food nicely served and presented.
The new seats are very comfortable.
I have been coming here since a child and hope to be coming for many years yet.
Lovely intimate venue, courteous staff and the three productions I have seen so far have been top notch.
Loved it! I didn't know a thing about fracking but was certainly educated on the subject. The humour was amazing. James Bolam may be 81 but he still has it!!! Haven't laughed so much in ages, brilliant
Love this theatre! Just seen the panto with our family and it was fantastic! We’re all ready for Christmas now- thank you!
Love it, very funny and the actors make great animals.
Just returned from an excellent performance of the Pirates of Penzance. Brilliant, witty, tuneful, energetic - a delight from start to finish. I loved it
Homely and Friendly , lovely theatre
Great venue. Comfortable, spacious and with a variety of shows throughout the year. The staff are very friendly and efficient.
Great venue, really intimate and cosy. There’s a nice coffee shop for treats just past the foyer, the theatre restaurant also serves lovely food with nice views of the river. Dick Whittington was hilarious this year, I went with three generations of my family and we all had a fantastic time! Parking is tricky during the Christmas period as there is no onsite parking only the local multi storeys etc. so arrive early!
Great production of Gabriel starring Paul McGann yesterday- packed house for the matinee - lovely modern theatre - and excellent food in the restaurant afterwards
Great play. Excellent cast. Fracked has moved on from guildford now but you can catch it in Brighton and Richmond. Highly recommend it. Love going to Yvonne Arnaud. Great facility lovely staff and parking 3 minute walk away. Quality of productions always very good too
Great panto with Dick Whittington!! Great interactive fun with the family in an intimate environment. Well done guys
Great expectations was very well done indeed!! Wonderful performance by you all x
Fabulous Dick Whittington performance today. Laughed until we cried. Even better than last years pantomime. Loved it. Thank you.
Excellent venue - seats are comfy and the cost of programmes and merchandise (as well as ice cream during the interval!) are very reasonable. I would heartily recommend this theatre for families as we have been coming to the theatre with a wide range of ages in our group (from single figures up to retirement ages) for many years as the atmosphere is so welcoming and the pantomimes are wonderfully written for both adults and children.
Do take yourself to see this excellent production of Dick Whittington, very well done all the cast, especially Laid Back Jack, all the family loved it especially the 12 days of Christmas and the clever singing between Peter Gordon and Jack....My grandsons loved the water pistols, as all the kids around me......Love Panto....you all did a wonderful job entertaining us all
Check out the panto! It is absolutely one of the very best I’ve ever seen. Funny script (for kids and adults), sparkly costumes and and super set of actors ( plus MR Gordon!!). Just great. Book it up while it’s still running. And Use the restaurant which is top value and has yummy mosh!
An excellent family show- am so glad this was my son's first panto experience. He's 3 and had an absolute blast - the 12 days of Christmas sketch went down a treat (as did the yummy ice cream)! I'd highly recommend this show, as well as the venue. Hugely entertaining and the cast/staff couldn't have done anymore to make us feel welcome and involved
Always such a treat to go to the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. The shows are always brilliant. Staff who work at the theatre are so helpful and welcoming. Thankyou
Always loved the Yonne Arnaud. Had my first job there soon after out opened, way back when! ' Fracked' was very funny, and also informative in an entertaining way. Great cast, I expected a lot from them and was not disappointed. Hope the show goes into Town.
Went last night to see Strictly Joking, fantastic performance & love the more intermit size of the theatre.
Great parking next door which didn't cost an arm & a leg.
Found seats to be really hard & uncomfortable, must bring cushion next time & drinks at the bar terribly over priced.
We enjoy coming to the Yvonne Arnaud, great theatre . The production of the Death of a Salesman was brilliant, the acting was also brilliant. My only downside was the glass of prosecco , it was flat, I know I should have taken it back!
Lovely
It is a riverside theatre opened by Vanessa Redgrave decades ago v 1950's decor esp railings has an eclectic choice of productions a little too twee for me my closest Theatre is The Royal Court as I live in Chelsea but thank god like Leatherhead and Bromley theatres also named after British Stage Actors such an important asset to a town.
A pretty good theatre. I had a good view of the stage from my seat, which was comfortable. They have a cafe, a bar and a teataurant, and you can order your interval drinks in advance.
They also allow you to take drinks into the auditorium, but only with plastic glasses.
A Passionate Woman combined a witty but thoughtful script as Lisa Goddard reminisced about her less than perfect marriage as her only son is about to get married.
I loved the way I became so anxious that he wouldn't make the church in time and the inspiration provided by a few choice records which I had forgotten about.
The seats were great, the set creative and a very surprise ending made it a very worthwhile experience.
