... It opened with a standing ovation and closed with a standing ovation. The two weeks of Rain Man in Windsor are over, and it has left its audiences laughing, crying, and at a loss for words. Bravo #Mathew Horne and Ed Speleers for two of the best performances on the Windsor stage!

Went to see Bugsy Malone yesterday for an amateur production it was excellent, some very talented young people there . Both myself and my friend are Visually Imoaired and the staff could not of been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Ice cream very over priced but guess that's how they make their money . Overall a pleasant experience.

User

This is Elvis was absolutely fabulous, extremely well portrayed by Steve Michaels, the band and backing singers were amazing our enjoyment was slightly marred by some rowdy loud constant talkers in the audience and I absolutely admired that the show participants who were able to keep going above it. Staff were all very kind, welcoming and attentive to our needs, the tiny loo cubicles do need a vast revamp though and the theatre seats could do with re padding, but we love the step back in time to a quaint charming old smallish theatre...x

User

Love this theatre-especially as I live yards away! I saw Think Floyd last night and was worried before I went that bag checks wouldn't be done but they did check bags to my relief-I hope this is always the case. There were people saying it was over the top! These people obviously do not read or listen to the news. So thank you Theatre Royal for a brilliant evening-I shall be back often.

User

Last night we went to see George Michael Tribute "Faith" show .. Johnny Mack was amazing, great atmosphere with everyone dancing made even better when I got chosen to go on the stage with another lady to dance with him ! Definitely recommend anyone going to see this 😁

User

Just seen Genesis Connected. Absolutely blown away. Cannot wait to see them again. The whole theatre was in a party mood. A shame the theatre wasn’t full. I think the Marketing department needs to focus on local Facebook groups, as we only saw this last minute.

User

Just returned from Genesis Connected at the Theatre Royal what a fantastic show, within 5 seconds of the first song I was hooked. Just like Phillip Collins, with hits as well from Mike and the mechanics and Peter Gabriel. I will keep a look out for them at other venues and definitely go again they were terrific. Would recommend this show to any one who enjoys a great night out.

User

Just had a great night with The Drifters well worth seeing.

User

I really love going to Windsor Theatre. I have just been to the "Made for Windsor" season and I have loved every minute of every play. The theatre management make such an effort to put on really enjoyable entertainment. The actors are brilliant, the plays are brilliant and the staff are brilliant. I cannot recommend going to Windsor Theatre enough and I urge everyone to go to Windsor Theatre. It's a great way to spend a day. One of the best theatres in the country.

User

I love Windsor Theatre I take my mum as it is such an intimate space and the staff are always so attentive - my mum has problems with her knees and is hard of hearing and they always look out for her- opening the back door if necessary.

Prices are reasonable - it’s still a treat and I’ve been going for 25 years ... Today saw To Be All and End All ... I had a tear at the end and now want them to put on Education and the last of the Trilogy - just 4 actors on stage but really powerful.

Thank you for a lovely afternoon

User

I have been going to this theatre for many years.

Always feels special, going to this theatre.

User

Had a lovely evening with my sister and a friend watching Dreamboats and Petticoats, staff were friendly and welcoming answering all our questions, we had drinks at the bar first and we were offered a pre order for the interval which we did, what a great idea that was, as the bar was busy at the interval and we just had to pick up our drinks and enjoy the break instead of queuing, the theatre itself is going through a refurb but it is so lovely inside all traditional and quaint, as for the show it was so good, all the cast fantastic and a very uplifting show to get you out of your seat and dancing if that's what you want to do.

All in all a great evening out, well done Theatre Royal, Windsor 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

User

Cinderella was a beautiful ballet a must see if you can on until 11th March 218

User

Been to the 'Elvis' show - and what a show it was! You'd have though Elvis actually came on stage. The guitarists towards the end were brilliant. A little story about Elvis and his manager and how he switched off to the movies to do more singing. The rest was about having space to get up and dance, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves (so did a lot of people who got their dance pants on and boogied in the aisles)! Highly recommended.

User

Really impressed with the Rare theatre youth group in the production of Grease. Clearly some talent scouting needs to be done as their are some future stars in the show. Some stunning voices with the singing. Really captured it and I'm still singing. Great night out at the theatre.

User

Saw Bugsy Malone yesterday and the performance itself was ok for children. However, with this in mind, tickets were vastly overpriced. Staff were lovely - friendly and polite - theatre disappointing, seats uncomfortable and very limited legroom which, in an old theatre I wouldn't mind if the surroundings made up for it but the place is just old and tired, not ornate in the least. The ladies loos are disgusting - you cannot even turn around in there. Shocking! I won't be returning in a hurry.

User

What is usually a nice little theatre was ruined by the fact that at the moment they are undergoing refurbishment and we had to sit through a play and put up with an over bearing smell of paint at the same time. one of the exits upstairs was blocked off which I am sure could not be legal as it would have forced every one to evacuate from one exit had they had needed to have done. Luckily there were lots of empty seats upstairs , but whether this is because people had heard of the disruption, I don't know. The theatre should have closed for a week for the work to be carried out or at least they should have offered big discounts on the admission prices. Definitely not worth the £75 we paid to get in.

User

On Sunday we watched the panto like we do every year and this year we were disappointed with the lack of enthusiasm from some of the cast. The young children apart from the 2 older ones were very lost on stage and the older ones were having to place them and show them where to go on stage! It looked very unprofessional and was a shame as we look forward to this all year! It was interesting to hear that others also felt the same!
