The Thelma Hulbert Gallery has something for everybody, inside or outside of the Honiton community. Serious adult art viewers should make the effort to travel from far and wide to see their excellently curated exhibitions by international artists - like the current glorious and intriguing works on a domestic scale by Peter Randall Page - while young people from local schools appear to drop by all the time to enrich their education and leisure time participating in the well stocked Learning Room. For those with an interest in 20th century British art history - like me - there is a permanent display of work by the enigmatic Thelma Hulbert, who worked in close association with Victor Pasmore and the Euston Road School before the war, and exhibited at the Whitechapel and Redfern Galleries in 1960s.

Definitely a treat and well worth supporting!

The Open exhibition is a delight with a wide range of interesting work. It is certainly worth a visit. The gallery is full of natural light and the staff are attentive and keen to help visitors.

The HTG is not just an art gallery.

I have 2 small children who adore the gardens, bug hunts, beautiful flowers and scents. We currently can’t pass without looking and trying The wild strawberries black and red currents are in the community garden (very yummy). And to top it off the volunteers and workers in the gallery are so welcoming and lovely the whole place is a delight. The creative sessions on the last Wednesday of the month are always a pleasure to attend. THANK YOU all involved xxx
