The Guildford house Gallery is on Guildford High street very convenient when shopping for your Christmas goodies. Pop in and see thebeautiful and talented work of many members of the Guild of craftsmen. Ceramics, glass, textiles and much more the perfect place to buy for those ....not so easy presents! Are you looking for something distinctive for someone special? Art for Christmas will have original art and craft for sale at affordable prices, from a range of Surrey-based artists.
The special Art For Christmas day at Cranleigh Arts Centre on Sunday 4 December, 11am-4pm, will be packed full of stalls with plenty of beautiful and bespoke items all for sale and in plenty of time for Christmas.
The day also includes demonstrations of how the work is made, and you can even have a go at making something yourself. You will meet artists from across the county and learn how they produce their work. A range of jewellery, textiles, paintings, ceramics and more will be available to buy on the day.
There will be a café open selling tea, coffee and delicious cakes and sandwiches. ...I WILL BE THERE WITH MY OLD FAITHFUL SEWING MACHINE!

We will be at this event on the 24th -a date for your diary The tea cupboard always have an interesting selection of stalls and in the beautiful market town Dorking two reasons to come and make a day of it. We will also be a part of the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen festive Exhibxition from Monday for a month at the Bourneside Gallery also in Dorking so if you cannot make this date come and see what we have on offer at the gallery

5th of November is bonfire night so start your day with an Ooooh and an Ahhh and come along to the Wilfred Noyce Community centre (in the big high street car park) Godalming GU71DY for another 'Fair to Remember' event (great name!) from 1.30-4.30pm We will be there to start your festive season with lots of ideas for gifts! Hand picked artisan, craft,handmade and bespoke items- photographs, cards, gifts, stationery, home wares, refreshments and a quiz for the little people there is something for everyone!

We are looking forward to the Chiddingfold Quintessentially English Winter Sale on SATURDAY 12th November 10.30-3.30pm at the village hall in coxcombe Lane GU84QA Admission £1 (children free)A sale of wonderful vintage and artisan treasures flowers, china,jewellery, cards, flowers, handmade items cakes with a pop up cafe in a beautiful country village what more could you possibly ask for? We will be there with our machine embroidered items - lots of new gift ideas for Christmas, home ware and stationery so come and say hello!

I just heard that Thimble & Thrift will have a stall at the Farnham Maltings event Festival of Crafts!! In the Tindle room Saturday 15th October and Sunday 16th 10-5pm both days So excited as this has been a major goal for us... I'd better get making!!... Come and say Hello it's always good to see a familiar friendly smiling face!!!

Hello lovely friends! So long no hear- as some of you know its been a pretty awful time (but also a very busy and rewarding one too) for us but now we are back on track and rearing to get going again! We hope you are enjoying the sunshine ! we are busy beavering away making new items ready for our Autumn sales . New items can be found at the Surrey Guild of Craftsmen in the Milford Gallery ( a real hidden gem!) open Tuesday to Sunday 10-5 all year round! Our first Autumn event this year will be at the Farnham Maltings THREAD on SATURDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER @maltingscraft . we have been hoping to exhibit at this event for the last three years so are thrilled to have been accepted. This FRIDAY 12th FebruaryThimble and Thrift will be at The First ' Local Arts and Crafts Fair' at Reigate Town Hall,Castlefield Road,REIGATE RH20SH from 11-2 all are welcome and admission is FREE . There will be 28 local stalls, a raffle,silent auction and home made food and cakes. Come along for a delicious lunch and help to support fund raising toward the East Surrey YMCA and Royal British Legion.We look forward to seeing you at thiscraft event with lots of lovely Valentine and Mothering Sunday gift ideas- come and say Hello!
