We had a fabulous meal at Thira, 6 of us ate there and all had something different and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. The food is superb, the staff are lovely. I would definitely recommend anyone to go.

Visited this Indian for the first time last night. I decided to go with my partner after reading the reviews on here.



It is exceptional in the quality of food ( best curry I have ever had ) and reasonably priced. The service was excellent and it was impeccably clean. The setting is lovely and relaxing. We even got to take our left over meal home.



Definitely will tell all my friends and family and will be returning again.

Visited Blackburn for one night from Liverpool, actually THE best Indian meal we have ever had and 4 courses for £30 for two people, amazing! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

This restaurant is excellent. Lives up to the excellent reviews. Everything wonderfully presented. Not your run of the mill Indian restaurant. South Indian food.Very tasty. Plenty of choice. And excellent value. I highly recommend.

One of (if not the) best Indian meals I have ever eaten.

It's a small, family run restaurant so don't expect a slick operation of super quick and attentive service. But if you don't mind waiting a short while for your food (we were in a large party of ten however) then honestly, try this place!.

I went last night with my partner.. We loved it!! Best Indian restaurant we have been to!! Excellent food, service and reasonably priced!! We will definatley be going back and we will recomend it to friends and family!!

Found this place by chance before a show in Blackburn. Lovely friendly family run resteraunt. Food absolutely fantastic, will be worth a trip out in the future!

First impressions were very well, the starters connotes that the food was very nice, the main courses also were spectacular. The food was presented very well, it was obvious that the food was made with compassion. Overall the experience was great and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Fantastic restaurant with a lovely atmosphere. The food is delicious, very tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced. The garlic naan bread is the best I’ve ever had, in fact all the food is amazing. The service is excellent and they serve a delicious Pinot Grigio. This is my new favourite Indian restaurant and will definitely be back soon. Thanks for a great night x

Definitely a delight to have authentic home-cooked food from Kerala in the UK. It was a pleasant surprise to find this haven in Blackburn. I definitely recommend for the non-vegetarian lovers, but there are many options for the veggie lovers too. A beautifully concocted paneer and mushroom dish - Dingri Dolma - seems the chef speciality. The naan were soft and melted in my mouth with the luscious gravy-based dishes I tried. The Masala Dosa with three chutneys and Sambhar were appetizing and seemed like a huge crowd favorite. Fear not there are fries to go alongside. To finish off, I recommend the Paalada - a sweet pudding made of rice. Something that reminded me of childhood memories. A delicacy cooked by my grandfather and sometimes my mother eons ago! I would recommend eating here more than once each week as the ambiance is comforting and simple. It definitely feels lighter on the purses too.

Best Indian meal in Blackburn and I can't believe we have only just discovered it yesterday. We have been to many Indian resteraunts and this is by far the best. Fresh and tasty food, excellent value and Top Class Service.

Absolutely stunning food. I had the prawn and mango curry, which was incredible. The sweet lassi was gorgeous too. I went at lunchtime when it was quiet. Don't hesitate, just go and try it, you won't be disappointed.

A lovely eating place to come and relax with friends and family. The staff are a credit, always welcoming and always friendly. The food is excellent, we always leave full, content and very happy. I honestly can't recommend a better place for great indian food!
