It had been nearly 10 years since our last visit, but it is EXACTLY the same, truly wonderful! We enjoyed getting to see the birds so close and we now want to save the vultures because of how amazing their little Black Vulture is! If you have a moment - even just 2 hours - to spare in the Thirsk area, this is the BEST family outing you can imagine. Not only is it educational, it's also FUN and exciting for both adults and children. Plus, other than just the cool aerial displays with the birds, you get to handle a few wisely chosen ones and the bird handlers are WONDERFUL - they answer all kinds of questions with patience and enthusiasm.

Top experience of all birds and the information you get off the trainers is great. I HAD a full day's experience and it was well worth it.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day here. The flying displays are great, with a couple of tricks thrown in. Also got to hold a bird after each show which was great. You can tell the staff genuinely love what they do and it really shows in the way they talk about the birds. I wish I lived close by, so I could come here all the time!

This place is incredible. The birds are beautiful and in great shape. The staff are very friendly and more than happy to share there knowledge with people. The fly the birds 3 times a day which is a site to see. There is a nice little shop but don't forget to donate if you can.

Went for my Dad's 70th Birthday and had a really good time.

They get loads of different birds of prey landing on your glove. The size of them was gradually going up the last one was a massive American bald eagle!
Another part of the day included a harris hawk following you while you go on a short walk.
Very nice surroundings and well maintained facility and helpful and knowledgable staff. The birds looked well cared for.
It was £80 per person for the experience day you were there a good four and a half hours it seemed a fair price. Definitely a day to remember.

Great staff and some beautiful birds. Very good flying displays. Would be 5 stars but it is smaller than we expected. Will not make a full day out.
