It was an honour to have Thomas Craig (British actor from Coronation Street & Murdoch Mysteries) sign our Union Jack ceiling last night! üòäüç∫

We had a quick meeting in the bar this morning and the menu was soon the main focus.



The food is ridiculous. Like pure happiness on a plate. A sausage bap the likes of which mortal man has never known. A pot of tea served with a side dish of jelly beans. Waffles that brought tears to the eyes. Beans that bend space and time.



We'll be back next week.

This is one of our favourite bars to go to in York - I had my hen do here last March and last weekend we celebrated my husband's 25th birthday at Thomas's! We had a fantastic time, staff are friendly and very helpful and the cocktails are fab! Cannot recommend this place enough ÔøΩ

There’s no words I can use to tell you how amazing Thomas’s is

The Yorkshire pudding wrap blew my tiny little mind. The staff were really friendly and made my family feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend and can’t wait to be back for another one those delicious wraps.

One of my favourite bars in York love the cocktails with the extras thrown in. Quirky and cool staff are really helpful and pleasant

Mine and my other half's first stop for food and drinks whenever we're in York and can't fault anything! Food is always lovely, I can't get enough of the cocktails and the staff have always been friendly :) Will be back again soon!

Lovely pub, great staff and a nice vibe to it. Vegan nachos were superb, amongst the nicest I've ever had.

Holy Moly Guacamole! What a messy burger that was! Amazingly saucy ÔøΩ Food = great, atmosphere = great, service = great, + friendly staff. Recommend this place. ÔøΩ

Great pint, great service, quirky and awesome food! The halloumi fries and the Yorkshire pudding wrap, highly recommended!

Food was amazing and lots to choose from. Great selection of cocktails and reasonably priced. Quiet when we were there on a Thursday night but that's probably down to the weather and time of year.

Cracking bar with a good selection of beers. Staff were great.

Amazing best cocktails ever. Awesome atmosphere and lovely staff. My new favourite bar in York cannot believe I've not been before. Amazing place.

Absolutely brilliant bar... loved the Portuguese barman, really lovely place for tourists üòâ

We came Sunday afternoon and was greeted very warmly. We took a table and ordered food and a few cocktails. The food and cocktails was amazing. They seemed very short staffed with everyone running everywhere.



We alerted them to a small leak. Which gradually got worse. we had to move tables. other than a few Marks on my shirt which I didn’t notice at the time from the water splashes.



Overall the place was great. We will gladly come again

Food was excellent, generous portions and really reasonably priced.



The decor is absolute class and the boardgames kept the kids entertained.



Beer..a little pricey, but worth it as it is a nice pint :)



Defo visit again, especially for food!

popped in for a late breakfast before exploring York for the day. Asked for a copy of my bill to check it. They had run out of paper for the printer so I couldn't get one. My partner said we had been charged extra for the milk in our cups of tea which I couldn't quite belive but he could see the till screen. I think it is shocking to be charged extra for milk! I think the tea was something like £2 then 50p for milk. But couldn't check. The music was also just a little to loud for 11.30am. On the positive side the breakfast was lovely and filling and the young man who served and table checked us was very nice and friendly.

Really nice pub and food was lovely (I had the nachos). Waiting/bar staff were really friendly and approachable, however who I presume was the manager extremely stand offish. Came across as sharp and like she did not want to be at work.

Unfortunately the ladies toilets had suffered vandalism earlier that day and were therefore out of order, meaning I had to use the gents which wasn’t great.

Took ages to get served drinks at the coz it was more important to clear the bar rather than serve customers!!! The pot glasses would of still been there but I don’t I will be from now on
