Recommend this for teenagers and above. My 6 and 8 year old were limited to what they could go on due to height and ride closures. So we were done by lunchtime! Fine occupy are local but not when you have travelled and paid for s hotel especially! Still they had a nice day.
Best. Place. Ever. Would 100% recommend. I have gone so many times now and i know all the ins and outs of the park. Arrive early (I recommend 30mins before park opens). Arrive with a plan, park is quiet when it first opens and just before it closes so use that to your advantage. Don't have lunch at lunch time, have it before or after. I have plenty of other hints and tips (all us theme park enthusiasts do) but if everyone finds them out they don't work, so my final piece of advice. Learn the map, learn the rides (some rides always have fast moving queues and some don't ;) )
The rides and atmosphere are amazing. The food not so great hence the four stars. If you're hungry I suggest burger king or KFC (both in the theme park) as the independent food places are not worth paying for. Unfortunately weather caused ride closures today but usually we have A LOT of fun and rides here. I love it.
I go to Thorpe Park every year for FRIGHT NIGHT 🎃 but be warned it is the busiest time of the year, so expect queues and long ones! Lucky for me I can go during term time and it's usually very short queues, last year the longest I queued was about 30 minutes. I stay the night at the Shark Hotel and if you're smart and book in advance, it can be quite cheap. Love all the coasters and the hotel is quirky and have really comfy beds.
