Thorpeness Meare

A great morning/afternoon out. Boats are reasonable priced £16 for 2 people on a rowing boat for an hour and £20 for 4 people for an hour (price on 22.8.17). Perfect place for families and couples. There is a Peter Pan theme which kids would love and duck food can also be purchased (which the fish will eat too!). The meare itself is deceptively big and although an hour was enough for us, you could easily spend 2+ hours on there going round and stopping at every island. There are two cafes nearby, the one across the road does great ice cream but it's a little on the expensive side. It's a nice relaxed place that I'm sure I'll be visiting again.

Hired a boat for two hours, got the treasure map. Was really great!
