Visited for a Sunday lunch, food was amazing and served within reasonable time. Very friendly staff. Excellent value for money

Our local pub is undergoing a lot of change... So once the garden is finished; will be ready for seating & tables outside onto an attractive large garden area. We were warmly welcomed with friendly staff. Our meal was excellent from start to finish. We enjoyed a 3 course Sunday lunch. Delicious prawn cocktail, hubby had garlic mushrooms. Roast pork was equally delicious with apple sauce. Lovely selection of veg, roast parsnips & roast potatos, also 2 large yorkshire puds... Followed by mouth watering profiteroles & I enjoyed cheesecake. The staff eagerly attended to us, checking we were happy throughout the meal. The meals are jolly good value for money with lots of choice. Thoroughly recommend a visit. See you there...

Lovely little pub, with lovely staff

Just had lunch here with my mum. First time we've been and very impressed. Really friendly staff, lovely inside with beams and bigger than it looks from the outside. Pub has been divided into different-style sections, much better than an open-plan design which can be really noisy. They've done up the front garden which looks lush and will be even better once the shrubs they've planted grow a bit to block out the road. Even had dog water bowls near outside tables - nice touch. They apologised for not having lamb shank, but it was a kitchen staff training day, so shall go back another time to indulge!

I do go here quite often, it is not

my nearest pub, but definitely worth the extra distance to walk. I find the staff very pleasant and friendly, they have a nice selection of wines and are well priced. I have attended the Sunday quiz many times and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have and will continue to recommend this pub. Keep up the good work ��

Good staff, good beer and a decent beer garden

Bar full of real ale..food very well presented, be going back very soon..living in Portugal and over visiting family, it's nice to be in a nice pub...very nice and thoroughly recommended!

Have been to eat here several time and always had excellent service and food.

Yesterday there were four or us and unfortunately my sister in laws beef was very tough but the price of one dessert was taken off the bill.I ordered the duck salad but after a while was informed that there wasn't any so then had to rush to order something else.I was happy with my choice and it was very tasty but was surprised that I wasn't told ther was no duck when ordering.

Overall a lovely place to eat and will of course be returning.

When the shop has opened next door how will the parking be for the pub.Being disabled we hope that there will still be enough room to park as this is a major consideration for us.

There missing out on business not using the far end of the seating area it could be open more cause it’s a nice space to sit in, in its oak beams and cozy feeling ����

Went bank holiday Monday. Lovely pub.nice outside area. Had run out of most things . dinner came with bits missing. Didn't look that great . such a shame...puddings where nice. Will try again sometime ìn case it was a one off.

Visited The Three Hammers today & ordered 2 starters & 2 mains one of which was a pizza with tomato basil & mozzarella. When the pizza came out I took a bite & thought it tasted odd so I removed the tomatoes & took another bite. The cheese tasted like cheddar looked too yellow to be mozzarella. I queried it with the girl behind the bar who then went & checked with the kitchen & returned to tell me they'd run out of mozzarella so popped cheddar on in its place. Surely they should have checked with the customer first? They offered me my money back & to make me a new one, but how can you make a new one when you've run out of mozzarella??

Not happy! Still feeling sick! Definitely won't be going back!

The food was very poor black roasted potatoes and beef not nice at all

Needs a good clean and the tables where dirty no cutlery just general appeal not good. I live just up the road and have used the pub many times so I popped in with my brother for lunch and he mentioned not its usual standard .The food we ate well cooked and we enjoyed it .Shame though general feeling just finish eating and go.We arrived before 12.00 so it should have been ready for business!!
