Went for a 70th birthday party, sempt nice and there's enough room for a decent crowd.

It is a pub, that is the nicest thing I can say. Staff were rude, beer was gross whole place was a bit smelly. Won't be back.

Go most Tuesday night, good real ales and on a Tuesday is £1.95 a pint. Worth a visit

Such slow service for drinks! I know it's busy on a Saturday night but the staff really ought to pay more attention to who is next in the queue. Fairly cheap for drinks though.

Called in friday morning, three of us. Superb full english brekkie, coffees etc. Couple of frames of pool, could have stayed all day, will b going again. Big up to Les and staff..

Awful food, slow service, miserable staff, atrocious toilets that lack basic things like locks or even toilet seats. Would have put 0 stars but not allowed.

Great atmosphere in a newly refurbished pub. Beer is excellent, with quite a few real ale options. Camra discount available except Tuesdays, when everything is cheaper. Just over £2 for a quality pint, who can complain.
The only thing letting the place down, is speed of service. A small gripe really as everyone is pleasant and they are trying their best, hence the 4 not 5 star rating.

A decent pint and good choice to be had, but the bar is terribly managed as the staff seem to really struggle when it gets slightly busy. I even witnessed one staffer walk out, leaving just one person serving on their own with 20-30 people waiting! Their exact words were "F#ck this, I'm going home!" 😱

Friendly staff, good food, great atmosphere, great function room all in all a top night out

Well... very impressed! What an improvement from a few years ago! Good selection of beers, nice environment. Rough around the edges but overall a good place to stop for a drink
