Summer might be on the way out but we’re really turning up the heat again! From tomorrow you can make big savings on main meals – but how big will it be?

What a lovely place, with helpful, friendly staff. Visited today for the first time, 2 adults, a 13 year old and a 2 year old. Carvery was fresh and tasty, chicken tikka masalla was flavoursome and came with a crispy poppadom and soft naan bread. Desserts were incredible!

User

Very friendly staff great food you can sit anywhere you want that has a menu on the table which is great where else can you go that does that

User

The food was excellent, the service was 100% I found no fault any were, I came with my two daughters and two friends, we never had to go to the bar once for drinks, there was always a waiter when you need one, I will defiantly visit again

Really good pub! Sat in beer garden, my children played nicely,..winner!!!

User

Lovely staff, very welcoming & polite. Cheerful, helpful service. Food presented nicely & tasted delicious. Lovely lunch time experience.

Wud have given 5 plus if only they served San Miguel!!! That’s only my preference though!

Had tea here for the first time tonight and was very impressed with the service the young lady at front of house was well in control and the young team of waiting staff were brilliant even the carvery guy was good. Food was a good standard and the wainwright bitter spot on well done and thank you.

User

From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel welcome. Food was well cooked and didn't take long to arrive. Staff were all friendly and polite even to my friend in a wheelchair. Nothing seemed a problem for them, even leaving our drinks when I needed to help my friend go to the toilet. I liked the 60's style American diner decor. Will definitely call here again.

User

Been today for a lovely dinner with visiting family; food was fabulous and service with a smile. Thank you from table 27

User

What a great place, food was lovely and staff very friendly. Will definitely go back if we are in this area

User

Just popped in for pudding, Apple pie, it was ok but not happy it was warmed up in the microwave making the pastry soggy!

User

The carvery veg was very limited compared to most carverys then I was stood waiting around with it for 5 minuets while waiting for Yorkshire puddings. My burger came out within a few minutes of being ordered and as it was very quiet it just made me think that it hadn’t been freshly made which you could also tell with the taste of it . And it wasn’t until half way through eating dessert that our main plates were cleared off the table. Such a shame as the place looks really good I had much higher expectations for it

User

Side stepped the carvery looked drier than the Sahara, portion sizes of the meals were enough for a child, the coleslaw as a side feeble and looked like it had the lurgy.

Definitely won’t be going again.

The drinks were ok tho

User

No selection of meat for Sunday roast left, when we arrived, which was only 5 o’clock beef was very tuff and very fatty, Yorkshire puddings was soft and soggy, potatoes wasn’t very warm,

We called into the restaurant before returning home after a day in Fleetwood.

After asking if we had prebooked we were allocated a table immediately as the restaurant wasn't busy, and told that a waitress would be sent over.

One passed by our table and we asked where the specials board was.

As it was out of line of vision we asked what was on it and were told there was too much to read out, this was the last we saw of the waitress.

We sat looking at the menu but no-one came to take our order. I visited the disabled toilet, came back to the table and 5 people had been shown to the table next to us and there order was being taken.

However, despite being sat at the the table for around 20 minutes no-one had approached my husband for or order or in fact set our table or given us cutlery.

We left the restaurant without being spoken to by anyone else.

We won't be returning.

The service was dreadfull.,order taken a starter and 4 mains..50mins later after no show of any food I managed to collar our waitress to ask what was happening and to cancel my main. The manageress came to our table to persuade me to have mine and I refused blank as my appetite had gone.Seconds later the long belated starter arrived nothing special garlic bread, hardly had the plate been deposited on the table the three remaining mains arrived over cooked, the meat dry the veg hardly eadible and the butter accompaning the baked potato melted and ousing out of its pakaging, suffice to say the starter was abandoned.

Though I have been here a few times and found it a little mixed as to the service and quality and the previous to this last visit not being too good either I certainly wont be spending my hard earned cash here again.I was asked if I had been told there was a wait for food...Like hell I was...I wish I had been and then at least I would have had the choice to either stop or go elsewhere....But that's now never going to be a problem of concern I'll never go there again.

User

The service here is shocking hardly anyone in and still couldn’t clear plates before desert arrived, even when deserts came only half the plates got taken! There was a lad in overalls that kept going in the kitchen ( not very hygienic) he was saying how he was going to work in the kitchen that night as no chef, feel sorry for people who go here when busy our service was bad enough. Food also wasn’t great, will defo never be returning!

User

Something needs to happen big time at this restaurant. It was point blank terrible after waiting a hour and half just to be seated we ordered 12 main meals took a further 20 minutes ordered 10 oz steak and a 10 oz gammon they had never seen 10 oz everthing was awful from start to finish. Save your money.

User

Really really poor, don't normally ever complain but it was that bad i had to! Guy came and took the order, 20 mins for drinks to arrive! Kids got there mains before there starters, the food wasnt edible, my son will eat anything and he refused to eat it! Carvery was practically empty and no mash apparently you have to pay extra, shouldnt we have been told this at time of order? No cutlery! Staff were moody and could be heard swearing! When we complained we got told the reason we didnt get the cutlery was because it was a sunday and they have to "run around sourcing cutlery" and the service was so poor because it was bank holiday! Never have i heard so much rubbish! It wasnt even that busy! Definetly would not recommend!

User

Food was shocking. Chicken nuggets for kids were hard... the kids starters come out after the mains. Had to ask twice for the drinks to be served. No cutlery available as they had to "dig about to find some"

Carvery was cold, had to wait 15 minutes for new meat to be brought out then there was lack of veg and you have to order mash potatoes separately.... so no mash with a Sunday dinner.

When complained they said it was due to it being a bank holiday and it being busy. This is true about bank holiday but it was not busy.

We were offered a free pudding.... when this came it was no better than the food!!!

Never again!!
