Thriftwood Holiday Park

Terrible place. Very dangerous access down a single track road and a 90degree bend. Place was like a building site. Potholes everwhere. Very few toilets for tourers. Ladies on reception hadnt got a clue what they were doing. Only realsied we had been overcharged judt nefore we left. Despite having told them we were acsi 4 times.
Would never go there again

I highly recommend Thriftwood for a great place to stay with your family. The site has an outdoor pool, games room and cafe with live music for entertainment.
The showers are five star and very clean and new.
The Sellers family and all of the team working at the Thriftwood resort are very helpful and go out of their way to make their guests feel at home.
I've taken my family there for the past three years on summer breaks and will always return.

Great little campsite for family. Very tidy and we'll kept. Park and woods nice for kids. Near busy road so good for accessibility but not for noise

We have just had 2 wonderful weeks at this park. Staff are brilliant nothing to much trouble for them very helpful and accommodating. Our kids loved the pòol only downer was the weather. Sam's bar was amazing with live entertainment for all the family, thank you to all at Thriftwood for an amazing time. We will definitely return soon.

Very clean and tidy site with heated outside pool,amusements arcade for the kids and a club house for the adults with live music at the weekends.
On site shop for your groceries a lovely woodland walk for dogs and kids to build dens.
Staff always happy to help and polite.
Hot showers 24hrs a day and toilets very clean.

Such a lovely and great place to spend our weekends. The park is very family and pet friendly but also very quiet at night. Everything was super clean, we are happy to come back.

Just back from an 4 day break which turned into a 8 day break. Mark was really helpful when we were trying to set up and along with a few fellow campers and staff they managed to get us pitched correctly in no time - nothing seems to much bother for them. I asked to stay on extra nights and Billy at reception went out of his way to sort my extra nights and I didn't have to move pitch. Visited this site many times over the last 7 years, started in a tent and progressed to a hard top folding camper and now our beloved Hobby caravan. The site really is immaculate, they focus on every detail. Pitches are quite large, shower blocks are fantastic, possibly the best we've used, always clean. Staff are very friendly, they go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect, nothing too much trouble. I was there on my own for most of my visit, the owners kept their eye out on me, i felt relaxed and safe in the secure environment. They are constantly improving the site as we have witnessed over the years. The long termers are friendly and welcoming to tourers. Perfectly located with shops and pubs, beautiful surrounding areas. Booked up to return before we left ! Thanks Thriftwood team.

Have been a couple of times and must say this time they have improved the park by so much more!excellent facilities and the new pitches are perfect for my oversized caravan. Very helpful staff at reception as well as grounds people who have been very helpful guiding me to the pitch and showing me around the amenities. My dog loved the woods too,I can not recommend this park enough.definitely will visit again.thumps up!
