I HAD TO GO TO OTHER AGENCY(ENTERPRAISE RENT CAR,VERY NICE PEOPLE) .THE OLD BLOND LADY IN THRIFTY IS UNPRESENTABLE AND ALSO THE YOUNG BLOND LADY. IF I COUDN'T GIVE STARS I WOULD GIVE CERO .

Horrendous service - booked a "Qashqai or similar" online - Due to travelling to Devon for a few days with friends, I needed the space a "Qashqai or similar" offered. On the Saturday morning, I turned up to collect the vehicle, only to find out all they had to offer was a VW Golf!! I was told by the receptionist that a Golf was what I had ordered and that it was the same engine size as a Qashqai. Despite showing her the booking form with a photo of a Qashqai and confirmation that a "Qashqai or similar" was what I'd ordered, NOT a Golf, there was nothing she could do. I was therefore left without a car for the trip. I did state that people hire cars for the space and room available, not the engine size!

They had a variety of cars listed in reception, stating all vehicles were offered for hire, however in reality there were very few cars available - the grand sum of a Golf and a Passat!

When booking directly with the hire company, make sure you have hired the exact vehicle you require, as it seems the vehicles advertised are not whats available.
