Had to hire a car following my own breaking down & needing repair. Staff were polite & helpful especially as I was ringing to renew the hire every couple of weeks until my car was repaired. Hire costs were reasonable. Would definitely use them again.

Terrible customer service, paid for the car I was supposed to be renting for a week when I called the store I asked the lady if there was anything I needed to bring with me, she informed me that I needed my driving license, bank statement and passport. When I arrived she then informed me I needed to have my driving license for longer than a year and I would need to contact a third party in order to get my money refunded - Avoid this company at all costs.

Discussing company, conning people and completely over charging for minor parts. Horrible ethic, avoid if you want to keep your money!

I have been using Thrifty Derby for about 6 weeks, my company gives us the choice who we wish to use to supply hire cars. Having used Avis for a while, disappointed, I tried Thrifty in Derby, so wish i had done this a year ago, all brand new cars, customers service is excellent, never have any problems.
