They loot money as admin charges of 42 pounds for each traffic violation ..

So helpful. We had a sudden car failure and due away next day. To replace a 7 seater on Friday of a Bank holiday was a big ask. They managed tho and so welcoming. Thank you

Though I did not face any problem as I took a full insurance. Nonetheless, while giving the car back, I was shown an impossible to see scratch which was there before I took car. Had I not taken the insurance they would have charged me sure. So please check your car carefully and make sure you put on paper the smallest of scratches before taking out the car on rent. Staff is friendly though.

Had all kinds of problems trying to rent here. Not only did they want my c/card & DL, but also my passport and all travel documents! (The confirmation email from Travelocity said I would only need my c/cd & DL.) No-one else has *ever* asked for those. As I didn't have all that with me, they said I couldn't rent my reserved car.

I would give them a negative star if I could. Buyer beware!!!! They have a "non-refund refund policy" for their online bookings. Read this:

"If you cancel your pre-paid reservation within 24 hours of placing the booking Thrifty will issue a full refund. If you cancel your reservation more than 24 hours from time of making the booking no refund will be made. All bookings cancelled less than 48 hours from the pick up date and time are non refundable."

The last sentence negates the entire refund policy, and it is criminal if you ask me. I called and was assured about the "24 hour refund policy" before I placed my order, my trip was cancelled so I cancelled the order within 16 hours. Waited for my refund, called back and that last sentence was recited to me. I will be reporting them to trading standards. Thank God I paid by credit card and can dispute it with them.
