Staff are rude and unhelpful. Problems with documentation to which the woman on the desk said it 'wasn't her problem' rather than being polite about it. Just don't use them; not worth the effort of dealing with the rude woman. I would have written a complaint, but as they can't be courteous, neither shall I.

The staff were very friendly, and showed me how to use the keyless entry system.

I've tried on at least 3 occasions to contact them, each time i go into an automated service and the phone then just goes dead....

Terrible service, even though I had pointed out damage to the van I hired - the person putting it down on the paperwork failed to state the damage went from the top end and the bottom.

Ended up losing my deposit, bearing in mind I'd hired two vans. I refused to pay this, however the lady on the phone said if she doesn't take payment right away, I'd be charged another day for hiring the van (even though it's returned to them?)

Please do yourself a favour and steer clear unless desperate. If you do use the company tripple check the paperwork and the vans, both vans had more dents than the paperwork they had at the start, and if you don't notice it, you pay. Sometimes even when you do notice it. Shocking service.

So today's my little girls birthday her dad booked a car for today as he is waiting on his new car to arrive and we wanted to take her out for the day!! He went down this morning to collect it and was met by a very awkward unfriendly lady. . Who may I add he had delt with just before Christmas and there wasn't a problem. Apparently he didn't have the correct documents. He had exactly the same stuff as before Christmas. If the documents were not correct this time, surely as a professional service you should be consistent with every customer hiring a car! This is simply sloppy service. The lady was very rude and uncaring about the situation.... I would maybe recommend a customer service course for this employee. I will not ever recommend your company. You should always remember bad service will spread more than good service. Treat people how you expect to be treated. So jump for us today so the day isn't completely ruined :)))

They upgrade me to a larger van than I requested bit when realised was too big they worked their socks off to find me the right size van.

Con artists. They said it had a scratch on the hub cap £85. Could hardly see anything didn't know I needed a mignifing glass when I picked it up. Not sure how I could do that and not damage the wheel arch. Plus another mark on door which looked like dirt to me. Hey will rob you blind.

I hired a car for three days. The vehicle was immaculate. The staff were nothing but courteous and helpful. Everything went well. I would certainly use them again and would recommend Thrifty to my friends.
