This is not like a regular zoo. In places it feels like the animals are at home while the visitors are in the cages. The best part is visiting the tigers on their high deck. Wrk worth a visit.

Had a great time here. Amazing to see so many rare animals in one place. They have a successful breeding programme too, which is great considering they rarity of a lot of the animals they have. Even got to watch the leopards and tigers have their food (which my 4 year old enjoyed very much)

Was very disappointed. I don't feel it was value for money. It seemed very dingy and the enclosures weren't good from a photography point of view. I had walked around it in less than an hour. I won't be returning. 😞

Came here with my family, we had a great day out lots of animals to see, it's rare you go somewhere and see crocodiles and alligators close up, also the tigers you could see very close up and could almost touch them. I think my favourite was the swinging baby monkey. Well worth a visit.

Went for the first time last week and I cannot believe I haven't been before! Loved how most the paths are high up and can see the animals so clearly. I didn't fancy standing right close to the tiger tho!
It's not the biggest zoo but it's plenty enough. I found it better then banham zoo.
Food is home cooked. having a diabetic son it would be good to see more sugar free drinks available to buy.
Will be coming back real soon. Great day out.

Absolutely loved our visit to Thrigby Hall wildlife gardens, amazing wildlife to view, really enjoyed the feeding times, the staff were excellent, knowledgeable and friendly, talked us through the feeding process, the names of the animals, and answered every question asked, the layout is fantastic particularly the tiger walkway, we were there for a good four hours, well worth the entrance fee.

We called in after seeing an advertising sign for the place so we had zero idea what to expect. We absolutely loved our visit. Thrigby wildlife park is one that you can go around and see everything in 90 minutes or you can take your time and spend half a day there. As others have said, it isn't in the same league as the major zoo's but don't let that put you off.

We went at 3pm and many of the animals are fed between 3pm and 4:30pm so we got to see many as they were feeding and immediately afterwards when they seemed most content.

The two tigers were amazing to watch from above as they snatched their chickens (dead) from the feeding hatch. There is a viewing bridge (although it isn't for everyone, very narrow and only one way around) but ignore that at feeding time and isntead follow the handler around (she is easy to spot pushing her wheelbarrow of food) as you get to see the tigers close up and the handlers are very friendly and knowledgeable and they love answering your questions .

It's a nice zoo. Not too big but with lots to see and do. The high up, tree top walk is good and the kids loved the play area as well as all the animals. The zoo isn't very expensive either. We had a great time.

We went here for my daughter's 2nd birthday in march.
Have to say we weren't happy. There was a group of school children (about 30) that didn't worry us at all. The problem we had was the cafe being closed to the public!!! Why close the cafe for a class of kids? They weren't even in it or near it. We were there at 11.30 till 2.30 and never once saw them using it.
The weather was freezing cold and all we wanted was to get our little girl warm. Yes we could use the shop to sit but they didn't offer hot or warm food so my poor girl had to have a cold sandwich and cake.
She spent the day in her buggy with 2 coats and blanket.
We won't be visiting again we go else where.
No other zoo we have visited has ever closed for a class.
Corner a part off yes but that was just stupid..
