Was made to feel welcome, rooms clean all the staff went the extra mile highly recommended would definitely stay again!
no car park had to park at here by petrol station were you get charged a few quid for the night. Hotel not easiest to find. Reception is nice then you go to you rooms first was a colleagues room on the first floor. Twin room very dated and no bathroom. The bathroom was at the other end of the hall. My room on the second floor was a triple. Big room very dated aswell but with ensuite. Single pain glass window which over looked the dual carriageway so very noisey. Two window one with a blind one with a curtain. Owner was very nice he also owns the pub next door which was a good laugh with some rather drunk locals. Good English breakfast in the morning in the hotel "restaurant" which was actually the back of the pub next door. Entertaining stay for one night would not want to do it again.
P.S they had just started refurbing some of the rooms which could only be a good thing.
we enjoyed our stay over the weekend inspite of the noisy traffic cos' the place is cozy, good breakfast:) The staffs and owner are so pleasant and very hospitable...Thanks so much
