Was recommended this place by a friend and we weren't disappointed. We ended up having the set menu deal which was lovely and reasonably priced as the portions were large. My only critisim was the choice was so large I was spoilt for choice so we will have to go back. Lovely staff too xx

Thyme Café was one of the first restaurants my sister took me to when I moved to Sheffield six months ago and loved it. Came back last night and had a selection of tapas with a glass of rosé. Staff were welcome; food was great and it was lovely to be able to dine out in the garden at the back. Thank you for mayking me feel most welcome!

Popped in for a late lunch today. Fantastic food and friendly staff. Wish I'd had room for pudding!!

Popped in after taking my son back to Uni, he lives nearby and recommended it. Food was delicious, and so much to choose from I decided in the end on the mushroom risotto to start , it was yummy and plenty of it, then the smoked haddock gratin for my main, I was just sorry I couldn't have a glass of wine as I was driving back to Liverpool. Prices were so reasonable for the quality of food. Service was great I will definitely be revisiting when next in Sheffield . Just want to add a very varied vegetarian menu too. Thank you !!

One of my fave places to eat - great choice for us veggies too. Imaginative, extensive menu, all dishes are reasonably priced & all prepared from fresh ingredients - cant fault it !

Lovely, tiny and buzzing restaurant. Always lovely food and friendly staff. I ordered the lamb was cooked beautifully and nice healthy portion! Always go back

Food is varied and always tasty, staff are friendly and reliable, drinks reasonably priced, and always a great atmosphere....keep on doing what you do !!!! You have it just right ����

Great night last night, friendly staff, really enjoyed the fish platter starter for £18.00, fed four of us. We all had mains, 2 puds, 1 x bottle of Sauvignon blanc, half litre of house red, 1 x bottle of coke, and 1 x cappuccino, all for £133.00. As we left, the place was full, and people being turned away to come back later. Great value, friendly, excellent service, good quality food. Thank you ��

First-ever visit to this location for family evening meal. Excellent ambience, service and food. Will be back!

Fancied a burger and for the first visit was amazed best burger in Sheffield, oops sorry uncle Sams. Will be back to try something else.

Been with my partner on a date night and also took my mum for a belated Mother’s Day, and it’s good for any occasion.

As per usual very attentive service - it was a miserable day weather-wise and the staff were great at getting the kids' food out quickly. The za'tar chicken was excellent and the choice and quality of desserts was superb. We always use this restaurant as a meeting place as we know everyone will be happy with their meals!

Staff are always very welcoming and nothing is to much trouble. The table we sat at was clean and the cutlery that was wrapped up in a napkin was clean and polished- a pet hate of mine dirty cutlery!! Rump of lamb with French style peas & Grilled Salmon served with gnocchi, olives, tomato and Both dishes were hot, tasty and very reasonable portion sizes. I personally was drinking water but would like to see a better selection of non alcoholic beverages- J20 or speciality flavoured waters? I also had a Cappuccino which was OK. The Coffee offer could be better and maybe a little staff training on the preparation of a Latte ,Cappuccino, Espresso , Mocha.

A good coffee & homemade cakes would in my option go down well, especially in an afternoon.



The price of the dishes and drinks were very reasonable.

It was nice to see the staff made an effort to say thank you and good bye despite how busy they were. Thank you for an overall pleasurable experience .👍

Food was amazing, couldn’t fault it and plenty of it! Very disappointing service though. Had to keep asking the waitress’s for things, can we order, can we have drinks, etc I had to ask for the bill 3 times!

I've always loved Thyme and the food has always been great. I was really disappointed last night to make a request to the waitress regarding my food and was told "You do know they'll laugh at you (chef) and you'll probably be able to hear it out here". I probably will go back as the good food will likely outlive the unprofessional waitress. The manager is fantastic.
