Just to clarify, the position that’s available is for a baker who is also willing to work one day per week in the cafe, 12 hours per week over three days, Monday, Thursday and Friday. This is the only position available so if you do not have relevant experience please do not apply. Thank you xx

It’s vegan week on ‘Bake off’ tonight, might be worth a watch ???

On our boards today we have: gf and vegan roast stuffed butternut squash, vegan mushroom and walnut Wellington, gf and vegan sweet potato and parsnip curry, vegan spicy tomato pasta and vegan nutty veg puff slice, our soups are both gf and vegan carrot and parsnip or cauliflower broccoli and almond come along it’s only raining !!!

Hello everyone, a position has become available at the cafe for part time waiting staff with baking experience or a confident Home baker ideally with experience of vegan and gluten free baking. The food is varied and delicious. I'm a veggie and like to eat healthy, I know if I go to this cafe I always get a big salad with my meal unlike most cafes, restaurants or coffee shops.

Since Organic Kitchen closed on Saturday's it has become me and my sisters place � We love the vegan friendly cake though there could be more options. Great atmosphere and staff are helpful but could be more personal like they are at Organic Kitchen but that really isn't paramount You do a good job �

Outstanding food, great service and the portions were more than generous. The service was so friendly and inclusive ensuring all our dietary needs were met. The atmosphere was so great we went back later on in the day for a quick tea. Highly recommend and in such a great location too.

Lovely and cosy place!! Food was fabulous and a good vegan choice too. Will definitely go back soon

I had a cheesy fritata which came with salad and buttery new potatoes. It was lovely and the cafe was cosy. My favourite place in Chesterfield!

I forgot to leave a review but we came in a while back for a cheese salad, it's was absolutely gorgeous. I came in with my little girl who threw food all over the floor and you were so lovely about it and understanding with her just being a child.

Amazing food and fabulous customer service

Husband was directed here today to save me from hunger and it didn't disappoint. Delicious vegan sandwich and soup, even a few cake options. Friendly atmosphere and could relax with the children too.

Having only recently being gluten free, I have been struggling on what to eat when I am out and about. Came into town and enjoyed lovely food. Thank you �

Had an amazing vegan chilli and rice here the other day. It's great to have somewhere serving tasty healthy vegan and veggie food in Chesterfield 😀

Had a lovely lunch here today with my husband & daughter. All the staff were very accomadating in helping to get us a table as we had our daughter in her pushchair & also as we needed a high chair. The food was lovely, really good home cooking. Everyone was very friendly, we will definitely be back for a visit again soon.

We were visiting the area last year and popped in for lunch TWICE the first time was so good…not only was the savoury excellent but the sweet that followed was to die for.



Lovely cafe, nice setting and great staff. Next time we are in the area we know where we'll be going for lunch and more again! And again. And again!!

Coffee was wonderful and lemon drizzle cake too! Liked the atmosphere and staff were friendly and helpful

We haven't been in here in years until today 💚 The service and food was very good 💚 I had Vegan Vegetable Chilli & Brown Rice with a side order of Herby Potatoes tho that was more than enough without the Potatoes . My Partner had Jacket Potato with Rarebit and Beans with Side Salad 💚 Both were very tasty . We will definitely be back . Many Thanks 💚

One of Chesterfield's hidden gems but very popular, you may have to wait a few minutes for a table but it is worth it. Great to have somewhere in the heart of Chesterfield with good vegan options on the menu.

So I guess potatoes and frittata warmed or cooked in a microwave because that us exactly what they tasted and looked like
