It's International Punch Day!
Punch is a great party sharing drink ladled into glasses and at Tiger Hornsby we like a punch that packs at PUNCH!
Our recommendation is a Negroni Sbagliato aka a 'mistaken negroni'. The name comes from the story that the drink was created mistakenly by adding sparkling wine in place of gin to the classic negroni cocktail.
... For your Negroni Sbagliato combine a bottle of Campari, sweet Vermouth and Prosecco into your fruit bowl. Add chunks of apple and orange and stir until serving!
This drink is fruity and subtlety bitter - perfect for those who like an Aperol spritz. We can also make you a bespoke individual version in the bar if this 'punch' sounds up your street......🤗

The Missus and I often pop in here for drinks. It's our favourite place in town, although a bit pricey we don't mind that as it deters a lot of , shall we say, undesirables away from the place. Great decor and friendly staff make it a pleasure to go to. Keep up the good work.👍👍

Favourite place for cocktails in Newcastle, been twice this year to Newcastle from Dublin and went both times �back again in a couple weeks ���

Fantastic night and a great young singer on, only went in for one drink ended up there for hours .

Drinks service amazing! And thanks for the delicious fruit � for my grandson it means a lot when staff go the extra mile it’s much appreciated! ��

A very special mention to Paul the barman who went out of his way to make my favourite cocktail White Lady ( even tho they no longer sell them)and still only charged me the reduced happy hour price! He is a credit to your business, nothing was too much trouble for him, fantastic customer service Paul!

Love this bar we always visit when we're home. We were there last Friday night for most of the evening and Wayne was DJ'ing. He was on fire. The only reason it hasn't got 5* on this visit is because the Porn Star Martini was the worst I've ever tasted. It was very bitter and didn't taste like one at all. The barman wasn't interested when I told him so that was a bit disappointing considering our rounds were almost £70 each trip to the bar. See you next time TH.

It was overall a good night and seen a few old friends. .The venue has obviously changed completely inside but was excellent and a big congratulations to Rachael and her staff for all their efforts. . Inevitably though there had to be a downside...and there was...The music set was a disaster...As all Julies fans know...Julies was brilliant because of the Soul music it played and we all had our favorites but this seemed to be lost on the DJ as he persistently turned down requests for songs saying he didnt have them. Going forward...and i hope it does...I would hope to hear maybe a full original DJ set played...just a suggestion

Cocktails pretty good but lacking choice. Love dinger who was great and added to the atmosphere ... overall not bad at all for a chilled out drink in a very smart bar

Went here with friends last night lovely looking bar & good music but it stops their, miserable staff and drinks so expensive especially when you have quayside bar along the road drinks a lot cheaper and happier staff. Shame as its a lovely bar.

It advertised cocktails £5, bought a mojito and a pint of cider which come to £12.40. When questioned was told only certain cocktails were £5 and once made could not be changed. A cheeky little tactic I thought, if the sign said "some" cocktails £5 it would ensure customers could make an informed choice.

Really rude staff. Pretended to be casual and laid back but actually this has costed me £50. I’m so disappointed - a group of 17 girls would have spent far more. Your loss.

Lovely bar but the door staff are complete wankers, I would suggest a personality training for the door staff rather than employing staff who just want to fight everyone who comes in.
