Tiger'S Eye Writers

We are a creative writing group for children aged 6-11, budding writers and those who have never written before.

Our workshops aim to create a relaxed and supportive space in which children feel encouraged to write without the pressure of having to reach prescribed targets. They are open to anyone aged between 6-17, both budding writers and those who have never written before. Each session begins with games and warm-up exercises to stimulate the imagination, followed by focused activities inviting participants to have a go at creating a poem or story. We finish with the opportunity for the children to read their work to the group and receive sensitive and constructive feedback.
