Tilgate Nature Centre

We had only an hour in the centre but it is great and looking forwad next year improvements.
The park is in working progress but for the £3 it is a great cheap place with lots of new animals and lots of lovely educational staff for kids. Keep up the good job Tilgate Nature Centre.

Much improved looks great now and once new american area finished next year will be very good. Baby alpacas were so cute. Great value

Great value place to go see animals with the kids. Nice cafe outside and obviously all of Tilgate Park as well. The zoo is really good and priced so you can go often and the kids never get bored of it. The park is nice with a good play area with plenty to keep the kids entertained. We haven’t used the go ape facility yet but I’m sure we will when kids are older as it looks like great fun. The smith and western is really nice and great for coffee and ice cream or a full lunch/dinner. Parking is good and easy to find a space even when busy and also good price.

So much more than I was expecting. Really good value. Lots of animals, farm animals but also exotic ones. I learned quite a lot and saw animals I'd never heard of, like raccoon dogs. It was nice to see kookaburras and emus and lots of other exotic birds. The meerkat, mongoose and lemurs were really fun to watch. I spent 2 hours here and really enjoyed it. Good for adults as well as kids.

It's okay, but it has a bit.of a run down feel. Some new paving and fencing has been put in around the wallabies enclosure but most of the rest of the trail feels a bit forgotten about. The animals do seem healthy though so perhaps they're just prioritizing money

Such an amazing park that I never knew existed. People with children of all ages, dog walkers, couples.. Anyone really!
It has a lovely little farm, park, Cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.

Well worth a visit and great value. Staff really helpful.

Great place to spend a few hours, always improving, can't wait to see it when it's all done.

Great value. Well kept, lots to do; and it's set within Tilgate, itself a beautiful and fun park.
