You have to try the fish and chips , beautifully cooked fish , service was spot on ,we will be going back soon .

What a lovely nice place.very welcoming and comfortable place to stop for a hot drinks or food.never forget to visit Tilly’s when visiting Castleton and have a fantastic hot chocolate and coffee after long walk on mountains.

What a great find! This place is a real treasure. Delicious food, great service, lovely surroundings, lots of choice and reasonable prices. We had the Welsh rarebit and it was packed with flavour and piping hot. Beautifully presented. A great range of drinks including a variety of loose teas. Would be advisable to reserve a table at busy times.

We were in Castleton around lunchtime and looking for a place to have a coffee & a bite to eat, Tilly's looked a good bet and we liked the friendly welcome and comfy seats-we had eaten breakfast but I decided to have the all day breakfast and the wife had beans on toast,the food came out nice and hot (no sau sage or black pudding left as they were so busy in the morning,but extra bacon was fine!) really tasty good food, not greasy at all was enjoyed and washed down with a nice cuppa.We didn't have anything more as the meal was very filling,very reasonable bill and recommended if you're after good food in Castleton. 👍🏻😊

We went around 3pm time on a Saturdays was very quiet. Great choice on menu I went for the English Brie and apple toastie with homemade coleslaw it was delicious! My other half had the cheese and ham and that was also delicious! Very nice staff and service! And he Coffee was excellent! Comfy seats and a great atmosphere would defiantly visit again!

Very welcoming. Food was excellent and plentiful. I decided on the ploughmans ,other half the fish and chips . Accompanied by tea for me and Tillys ale for him which I'm assured was a great ale.

The cakes are to be highly recommended too . Though so full that we bought a slice each to take home.

My favourite place to eat for fabulous food great value for money in lovely picturesque surroundings and excellent service from a very helpful staff, can't wait for my next visit , it's a must visit place if you enjoy good food

Lovely food, lovely ambience and very friendly welcome staff. The only minor downside was the wait for the food. I realise that all is prepared freshly but half an hour was rather a long time. Despite the small negative we will return.

Lovely dog friendly clean modern cafe. Our group enjoyed tea cakes, cheese scones & cakes with coffee & tea & all were delish.

We would definitely return & highly recommend

Fantastic place beautiful inside fantastic comfortable leather chairs. I have been a vegetarian for 22 years and never had so much choice. My husband loved the full breakfast. Staff are great food is great.

Called in yesterday ( mainly to get out of the rain ) but was really impressed non the less. Super surroundings ..lovely decor ( particularly like the loos !) Only had tea and scones but what fab tea and what amazing warm sco nes ! To die for ...menu looked scrummy ..will definitely be back to try more !

Absolutely delightful. We had lunch and then went back for dessert a few hours later. Staff was very friendly, food was wonderful and reasonably priced, restaurant was in very good condition, and the bathroom was very clean. Loved it.

The decor is wonderful as is the food.
