In an effort to reduce waste we have recently switched away from plastic bottles and will now be using paper cups. Feel free to bring along your own bottle if you would like to refill and take water into the room. We've also found that our new cups make great hats (although this one will not be being placed back in the cup pile)

Another day, another review, this time from The Logic Escapes Me. It is so nice to have received such positive feedback on an experience that was a risk and bit of a venture into the unknown. So sad to see it go on Wednesday but we still have a bit of availability before it does..

What a lovely review to get just a few days before The Divide closes. There are just 12 slots left to get yourself booked into you still want to experience our latest room. #rdguk

It’s time to look at the July leaderboards! Some absolutely incredible times this month, well done everyone! Special mentions for Bewilder Box Escape Room Brighton and Pier Pressure - Brighton Escape Rooms who came to visit and got the all-time fastest record on Rebellion!

Where do I start? Completely amazing.

Our group has played a good number of escape rooms (around 30) but Imaginarium at TimeTrap was not just in our top 5, it was the best game we have ever played. It was honestly our favourite room to date.

The attention to detail in not just the escape room but also the waiting area and game brief made the experience incredibly rememberable. You can easily tell that a lot of time and money has gone into making TimeTrap more than just an escape game, it’s a complete escape experience.

The escape room was incredibly immersive and had a very good mixture of technology and traditional locks and codes. The puzzles were easily suited to both new and experienced players.

Talking about the experience on our way home we couldn’t pick fault in anything. Literally nothing at all. Your trip to Reading should involve a stop at TimeTrap. You won’t regret it for a second.

We did the Imaginarium 1863 Lewis Carroll room today for our daughter's 14th birthday and loved it. It was such fun. Although we didn't manage to finish it (needed about 10 more minutes) we were doing really well. I think the whole experience is very well thought out, the rooms were themed to suit the time period and the clues were great. It was good to think outside the box and use your brain power. I'd definitely go to another one. Thoroughly recommend this.

User

We did Rebellion as a group of 3 and although it took us 65 minutes ish, I had a really good time. It was well thought out and they had really put a lot of effort into the decoration and accessories. Staff were nice. I liked that you could help yourself to bottled water as well as I get very hot in these rooms. Thank you very much. Would love to come back to do the other room.

User

We booked the rebellion 1136 room. Upon arriving we were greeted by Rachel who was really friendly and engaging, making us feel very welcome. The general vibe of the place is great and it's really well decorated, clean and tidy. The whole demeanour of the place matches in unlike some escape rooms we've been too which seem to concentrate purely on the room themes leaving the waiting and briefing areas lacking so that was great to see. Certain aspects of tech were introduced which again is nice to see with videos to explain each escape room theme and the challenge itself. They also have iPads to take in with you to monitor your time and to give you clues when you're a bit stuck. We played the rebellion room which again was fantastically themed and a great mix of challenging yet not over the top In terms of difficulty. There were a number of aspects I've not seen so far in all the escape rooms I've done which again made for a great experience (almost crystal maze type puzzles which was fun). You can feel the effort that's gone into this place so if I was closer I'd be back for the other rooms in a heartbeat. Toilets were nice too!

User

TimeTrap was AMAZING! The Imaginarium room was so much fun and has been very cleverly designed!

The puzzle was challenging but fun and we were able to escape the room in 54 minutes! We were maximising our time haha

Really enjoyed it. A lot of time and energy has been put into making the experience fun and it was really well thought through.

Thank you for a fun Sunday afternoon!

This was such a genuinely enjoyable experience. It was my first escape room, so nothing to compare to but it was really good. The story was simple and easy to follow but the puzzles added a good level of complexity. The puzzles had a good variety and didn't seem go be cheap or replicated. Good themes and fun aesthetic. Good job all round!

User

This was our first escape room so impossible to compare to others, however, this was a wonderful way to spend 90 minutes.

The host was warm and welcoming and suitably in character. We went back to 1136 and as a team of just three found the room great. A range of puzzles and clues only given when needed and just at the right time to stop us from going to wrong or falling into pits of despair!

And we actually escaped. We’ll no doubt be back for the other room soon.

User

The Imaginarium was the best escape room we’ve ever done! Very well thought out, with amazing scenery and props. Would deffo recommend, and we want to try the other rooms!

User

So much thought has been put into every aspect of TimeTrap. The rooms design, the puzzles and the whole atmosphere really make for a great day out and something different to do with friends. I have loved seeing TimeTrap grow and I am very excited to see where (or when) these guys go next!

User

Really loved the concept of Imaginarium. Inside the head of Lewis Caroll. Team Spectre are clocking up the escape rooms now and this was definitely one of the best thought out with some cool puzzles. The room was well themed and all the puzzles fitted with the Alice theme too. There was nothing out of place. The challenges came thick and fast which meant our team could split up and tackle two at a time at least. We managed to escape with eight minutes left. The other 52 flew by. Highly recommend you play this room.

User

Played all three rooms (including pop-up The Divide) this week. The rooms have a super high attention to detail and immersive quality which I especially love in escape rooms. Varied puzzles and great storylines. Staff were also super friendly. Highly recommend!

User

My group escaped from the pop up divide on Friday night but my other group couldn’t escape in time from Imaginarium in time. It didn’t matter as the whole experience & challenges were brilliant. We were all novices but everyone in the group loved it.

The concept, the setup, the hosts, the puzzles were great & we couldn’t fault it in anyway. Definitely will be going back to try the other room & look forward to many more in the future. Think I’m hooked! .x.

User

It was fantastic experience, very unique too. different than any other room I have been. I will definitely recommend it and I would come for the 2nd room!

User

I've done quite a few escape rooms now and TimeTrap's Imaginarium is by far the best I've ever done. The attention to detail is incredible, which creates not just any old escape room experience, but allows you to feel fully immersed in the theme. As soon as we walked in the front door of the building I felt the experience had begun, the hosts were brilliant and so welcoming. Inside the room, everything is brilliantly made and there's a great variety of puzzles which would suit experienced escape roomers and first timers. So cleverly done and I enjoyed every second. I honestly can't find a single fault and can't wait to come back and do their other rooms!

User

I would like to say a special thank you to the guys as they helped me with my proposal and hiding the ring. The puzzles were great and I would definitely recommend it. We will be back soon and I am sorry it has taken a long time to write a review.

User

I am not exagerating when I say these two are now my absolute favorite escape room experiences. Imaginarium and Rebellion are equally imaginative, tricky, intelligent, whilst completely transporting you to different times and places. Played both games in the same day in a group of 3 (bare in mind however that we all have played 10+ escape rooms previously) and it was perfect. I highly recommend Time Trap!! 👌🏻✨

User

Great host, great game. The three of us entered 1136 and became completely immersed immediately. A total hour where the only thing you are thinking of is how to solve the puzzles. Lots of solve. A great event, we will be back. Thank you.

User

First time doing an escape room which was very well designed and thought out.

We did 1136 and unfortunately got time trapped but still had an awesome experience. We will be back to do the other one. Many thanks

User

Awesome Games!! Aesthetically the rooms are fantastic and so many of the puzzles are uniquely designed. All of the escape rooms are very different from each other, and Andrew, Katie and their team are super. Having done close to 100 escape games now Time Trap’s are some of my favourite.
