We were so lucky to get a table on a Saturday night ,absolutely faultless meal

We went this evening and it was a fantastic and perfect meal.

We had Pork Belly which was cooked perfectly with amazing multicoloured carrots and delicious locally sourced Black Pudding. This was served with sides of potato dauphennois and truffle cauliflower cheese which were delicious.

The staff were really nice and friendly and service was also great.

I highly recommend this place, we'll definitely be coming back.

This is a very good restaurant. It’s up there in the higher price bracket. They do have a special lunch menu and at the moment there is a 50 per cent discount on the a la carte main meals throughout February. It is pricey but is a cut above the others we have been to in the Northern Quarter. We will go again. Food was lovely, the Prosecco nicely chilled and also great service. Well done!

But we sat next to the serving hatch today and saw the food coming out and it looked delish �

So we ordered 2 x Lamb dinners which can only be described as amazing,everything tasted great, freshly cooked and some of the best cooked veg we have ever had in a restaurant.

10/10 is our vote for this exceptional English restaurant! �����

Food was fantastic. We were the only ones in at 3.15pm but service was very disappointing. When we left another couple had arrived but no goodbye or thank you ☹️

First time we have been - food took a while to come (around 40 mins) but was piping hot and well worth the wait - would be a little worried about a peak time as there were only 5 tables in and food was slow but couldn't fault it
