Despite yesterday’s post saying we would be open this weekend we have reluctantly decided to close. With the Newquay schools closing this week and advice from the government to stay away from pubs and restaurants, its probably not right to encourage people to come to Toast, and we need to put the welfare of customers and staff first.
A massive thank you to all our lovely customers for making the start of this year the best ever in Toast, and we hope it won’t be too long until we can welcome you back.

Just a quick post to say we will be open as usual this week from Thursday to Saturday from 6pm, unless we hear otherwise from the daily briefings. We will be diligent with cleaning and sanitising throughout the evenings, and keep personal contact to a minimum (cashless payment would be much appreciated)
Your support of the bars, restaurants and cafes in Newquay will be hugely appreciated at this difficult time. We will all be forced to close very soon, and could be closed for several months, which may result in permanent closure for some.

We are clearly heading for difficult times, but please try and support the towns independent bars and cafes as we try to get through the next few weeks and months. We’ll be open again from Thursday evening, and will endeavour to remain open throughout the current crisis (unless Boris tells us differently!) Look forward to seeing you soon ❤️
