Toby Carvery

Came on Christmas Eve, booked table for 9. Once seated the service was rather slow despite hardly anyone in. After 30 minutes we had to go and find member of staff to take our starter order! Soup was luke warm, the cheese soufle had doorstop bread instead of 'crispy toast' and the prawn and lobster cocktail was a few cheap prawns with a sprinkle of lobster. The carvery was lovely though, really tasty. Sweets were really nice and good size portions.

Amazing Christmas dinner. Well worth the money. Staff very helpful.Giving away toys and sweeties to the children a lovely added touch to Christmas day. I as so happy because as a adult I finally got my longed for applejack my little pony.

Absolutely appalling! Meat under cooked fatty beef salty gammon. Bits of skin in the mash which the chef explained to us !veg was either hard or dried up gravy like water & we waited half an hour for THIS! We didn't pay & won't be returning as this is not the 1st bad experience we've Had here!

Good atmosphere. But the food has room for improvement. As the roast potatoes looked good but they must have been under the heat lamps so long were baked dry and leathery.

Well where do I start? From walking in we were greeted with big smiles and a very welcoming atmosphere. We are a large family so some places are not so welcoming due to having 6 children ranging from 17 months to 11 years. Not at Toby Carvery. The staff were amazing. The floor manager and our waitress couldn’t do enough to help, they even made it extra special for one of our tribe as it was his birthday. We will definitely be back. Thank you and well done for such well trained and passionate staff.

Stopped here for breakfast one Sunday morning. The breakfast it's self is all you can eat buffet style. The food it's self is nice enough and the endless coffee goes down a treat. Staff here were very friendly as there was a largest party of us eating. Would go again.

The all you can eat breakfast buffet was out of this world. The food was piping hot, the venue was clean thoughout with nice decor and the staff were extremely helpful. The Yorkshire puddings were delicious, the best yorkies I have ever had!
I can't wait for my next visit here!

Fantastic food and service today. Garlic mash was beautiful and the horseradish gravy made the meal perfect. For the first time ever the 2 chefs where chatty and smiley, something I've never experienced in a Toby!!!

Great Sunday carvery often take my son for lunch when taking him back to uni. Friendly service & great meals. Portion sizes ++ can be busy so need to book. Car parking on site.

Getting to be a regular stop over when we're rushed or I don't want to cook. I've even got the app now. There's super rewards, and great offers worth using. Straight forward food. Well cooked and tasty. The staff are getting used to us now. There's a lovely friendly welcome. Value for money makes this a good place to eat.

Visited with my friend and her 2 year old daughter last week. Very small portions of meat and beef was very fatty. Friend went to get her daughter some carvery and she was given more meet than us as adults. Very disappointing. Service was very good.

Standard carvery. Well equipped. Good access for pushchairs and wheelchairs. It's liking a little tired now in terms of decor.

Love this place. Excellent staff great food. Toby honest I think I go here to often.

Visited today 29/01/2017. Firstly I must say what Fantastic Managers are there now they are an absolute credit to the business as are all the staff. Very friendly welcoming team. Food is great & the cleanliness of the establishment is very very good. Great range of food & the price is extremely good value for money. All I can say is keep up the great work. I would Strongly recommend visiting here.
